Naya Rivera's Ex-husband Ryan Dorsey Pens Heartbreaking Tribute Weeks after the 'Glee' Actress' Death
The late "Glee" star, Naya Rivera's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, opened up about his grief and the surreal feeling he has around her death, while he will "never forget" where their 4-year-old son Josey came from.
Five days after several professional teams searched for Naya Rivera, authorities recovered her body July 13, bringing closure to a tragic incident that left a 4-year-old boy without a mother.

IT STILL FEELS UNREAL
"This is so unfair...there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts. I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here," Ryan Dorsey shared on social media.
While Rivera used to get annoyed with Dorsey's pre-occupation with Snap Chat, he is now more grateful for it than ever, as he gathered "hundreds and probably thousands of snaps and videos" of Josey and Rivera together.
A FOREVER PIECE OF RIVERA
Grateful for his history with Rivera and having their son with him, Dorsey said that Josey "makes the bad a little less so," and added:
"A part of you will always be with us. He'll never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you. Love you Meep."
HOW SHE DIED
Rivera's accidental drowning while swimming with Josey at Lake Piru sent an outpour of support to her family and Dorsey, who also thanked fans for their "overwhelming love and support." However, Dorsey also wanted to remind fans to err on the side of kindness in all things they do.
We never know what might happen tomorrow, or even in the next hour, and "time on earth is precious," and Dorsey advised fans to cherish the good we have in our lives now while we can.
THE FINAL ACT OF A MOTHER
Dorsey and Rivera divorced in 2018 after a marriage that lasted four years, and according to reports from investigators, the actress used all the strength she had to get her son to safety before she drowned.
Josey was found alone on the boat Rivera had rented earlier that afternoon. When she didn't return the boat at the specified time, an employee of the rental company went looking for it before finding the peculiar scene instead.
WHAT THEY INITIALLY FOUND
Still wearing his life-jacket, Josey laid sleeping alone in the boat with no sign of his mother. All Naya Rivera's personal belongings were right where she left them, including an adult-sized life jacket authorities believed to be hers.
When authorities investigated her disappearance, Josey told them that he saw Rivera go underwater after she pushed him back onto the boat.
