Kaia Gerber Looks like Carbon Copy of Mom Cindy Crawford in a New Vogue Japan Issue

Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, is Vogue Japan's September cover star, and she looks like the carbon copy of her famous mother.

On July 20, Gerber shared the first cover shot on her Instagram page. She looks stunning in skintight leather pants and a lacy lingerie top.

"Thank you to everyone who made my last job before quarantine the best I could ask for," the 18-year-old wrote.

The acclaimed model added that it is difficult not to miss working when she gets the chance to be encircled by so many talented individuals.

Gerber was referring to fashion photography duo Luigi and Iango. The model, who made her acting debut at 15 in "Sister Cities" (2016), continued:

"I love you both so dearly. THANK YOU!"

That day, she also shared three more photos photographed by Luigi and Iango. Gerber has a history with both Vogue Japan and YSL, though she is only a teenager.

For the magazine's December 2018 cover, Gerber was shot by the same photographers. In October 2018, she was announced as the new face of the renowned cosmetics brand.

At the 2018 Fashion Awards, she was crowned Model of the Year.

In January 2019, her first campaign for Rouge Volupté Shine lipstick went public. In an announcement, Gerber said that to be the new face of YSL Beauté is a chance to compose another story loaded with fun.

Gerber's comparisons to her mom have never waned since her first graced on the runway in 2017 for the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC collection of Raf Simons.

At the 2018 Fashion Awards, she was named Model of the Year. She has also fronted several campaigns such as Karl Lagerfeld's final campaign for Fendi.

Crawford shares Gerber with her husband since 1998, Rande Gerber. She has been exceptionally supportive of her daughter as the teenager keeps on riding on the wave of her career highs.

The two do justice to the phrase — like mother, like daughter — whether going to the same industry occasions or sharing selfies on social media.

In September 2019, Crawford shared a birthday wish for Gerber on Instagram. She wrote that she is very proud "of the young woman you've become! All the best for the year ahead!"

Crawford and Rande also share son Presley Gerber. On July 2, the doting mother also celebrated her son's birthday on Instagram.
