Selena Gomez and David Henrie Reunite for Upcoming Interactive Virtual Movie 'This Is the Year' – Details of Their BTS Roles
Selena Gomez and David Henrie have their hands deep in a new project. The former co-stars of "Wizards of Waverly Place" recently teamed up for an upcoming interactive virtual movie titled, "This Is the Year."
Fans of the Disney Channel show that lasted for four seasons would be excited to note that Gomez is reuniting with her former on-screen sibling, Henrie. This time, it is not for a reboot of the show. However, the co-stars promise their fans something spectacular.
"Wizards of Waverly Place," was one show that gained a lot of fans due to its intriguing storyline and its burst of talents as far as character is concerned. Recently, two of the main casts shared thrilling news with fans online.

The singer posted a series of images of herself and Henrie. They each had glee written all over their faces as they goofed around and posed in funny manners.
Before any speculations concerning a reboot, Gomez quickly told her audience that their new virtual film would debut this month. She said:
"I'm so excited to finally get to share the event trailer for @thisistheyearfilm...and let you know that David & I are having a virtual premiere on August 28th..."
The post garnered thousands of likes, and lovers of the actress/singer expressed that they are excited to see the two amazing entertainers working together. Others commended their friendship that has lasted for years.
The new movie premiere will be a virtual event with guests, and they would need to purchase tickets. They will be treated to melodious tunes from the movie's soundtrack and would be addressed by the co-stars.
Gomez and Henrie have maintained a strong bond since 2012 when the show ended. The latter helped the singer to set up an Instagram account.
At the end of the day, a part of the funds that is realized from the event would be donated to an organization known as the PLUS1 COVID-19 Relief Fund, where they drive for societal change.
The movie centers on a geeky senior student who tries to impress the girl that he is in love with. Fortunately, some casts from the "Wizardly of Waverly Place" other than Gomez and Henrie also star in the movie.
Gregg Sulkin, Jeff Garlin, Jake Short, Vanessa Marano, Bug Hall, and Alyssa Jirrels of the Disney Channel show will be starring alongside the former on-screen siblings.
Gomez and Henrie have maintained a strong bond since 2012 when the show ended. The latter helped the singer to set up an Instagram account. He was also the first person to feature on her first Instagram story.
This was the same relationship that existed when they were teenagers on the "Wizardly Of Waverly Place." As on-screen siblings, they had each other's backs.
