Justin Harley's Ex-wife Lindsay Defends Him after His Split from Chrishell Stause – Inside Her Statement
Justin Hartley's first wife, Lindsay defended the actor amid hints of unfaithfulness from the former's latest ex-wife, Chrishell Stause, in an Instagram statement.
They say no two marriages are the same, and, by extension, no two divorces are the same either. This has undoubtedly been the case for "This Is Us" actor Justin Hartley in the aftermath of his second divorce.
Hartley's ex, Chrishell Stause, divorced the actor at the turn of the year and seemed to hold him in unsurprisingly low regard following their much-publicized split.

However, that assessment couldn't be in more contrast with how Lindsay, Hartley's first wife, sees the TV star. Lindsay parted ways with Hartley in 2012 after eight years of marriage and a daughter together, but the 42-year-old has nothing but praise for a man she now considers a dear friend.
Lindsay lept to Harvey's defense by sharing how she felt about the former "Smallville" star with nearly fifty thousand Instagram followers. She revealed that not only is Hartley a "solid man," but she was particularly appreciative of the actor for:
"...being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter. Simply put; for being family."
She then said that despite her and Hartley's previous differences, she was grateful for their current relationship and the family they built together.
Many fans heaped praise on the mother-of-one for her approach and efforts with her ex, citing that they would be of immense value to her teenage daughter. However, despite Lindsay's heartwarming nature, it was an obvious clap back at Chrishell Stause.
Fans are sure to learn more about the famous split in the new season of Stause's reality show.
As the breakup saga of the ex-couple continued to unfold, Stause indicated that her ex-husband had already begun an affair with his new girlfriend, Sofia Pernas, while they were still married.
To drive home her insinuation, Stause — who has since switched back to her maiden name — liked several social media posts claiming that Hartley and Pernas had gotten romantically involved when both actors worked simultaneously in Canada last summer.
Stause had previously claimed that Hartley informed her of their divorce via a text because he had "fallen in love with another woman."
Of course, Hartley's camp denied all the allegations and maintained that he and Pernas only got involved early this year.
Fans are sure to learn more about the famous split in the new season of Stause's reality show, "Selling Sunset," which premiered on Netflix on August 7, 2020.
In the meantime, Hartley and Pernas seem to be going strong after spending an extended amount of time in lockdown together. Although, from the looks of it, he can rely on the support from his amazing ex-wife and co-parent, Lindsay.
