Tamera Mowry recently shared a photo with her twin, Tia Mowry, from several years ago: “This was back when I straightened my hair everyday.”

Tamera Mowry took a trip down memory lane and reminisced the day she and her sister, Tia Mowry, attended the Soul Train Awards and posted it on Instagram.

The twins were dressed in spaghetti strap tops that showed part of their core and paired them with long skirts. Tamera revealed that these were the days she would straighten her hair daily until losing her curls. “Thank God I have them back now,” she added.

ADAPTING TO THE NEW NORMAL

Tamera has passed on her elegant beauty to her children, Ariah Talea and Aden John who are soon starting school through online learning.

The decision to pursue online learning comes amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Despite not being in a physical classroom, the mom-of-two assured her kids that kindergarten for Ariah and second grade for Aden will be exciting.

Keeping her children entertained while practicing social distancing at home allowed the “Sister, Sister” star to be creative. She decided to have a children’s corner in their home for artwork, puzzles, and games.

TAMERA’S INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIP

The actress shares her children with her husband, Adam Housley. Together, the couple faced being in an interracial relationship for years, allowing them to grow stronger and more in love.

The actress suggested having a mindset of being a couple fighting against the problem instead of against each other.

Previously, Tamera revealed that she no longer wanted more children. “More than the physical task of doing household chores, Mowrey hopes to instill accountability and responsibility in her children.

She also taught the two how to clean up after themselves instead of relying on someone else to fix their things or mess.
