Christmas might be four months away, but singer Carrie Underwood has already found a way to lift her fans' spirits the best way she knows how to.

The country artist and "American Idol" alum is set to release her first-ever Christmas album on September 25 and it is titled "My Gift."

In a video trailer for the upcoming collection, Underwood explained that she chose to work on the project now because she believes there is no better time.

In the process of coming up with the name of the album, Underwood said she had to think of her favorite classics over the years.

She disclosed that "Little Drummer Boy" was one of her most cherished songs, and that was when she revealed the big news of working with her son. She said:

"It's one of my favorites because the sentiment behind it is just so honest. There's a little boy, and at first, I think of my 5-year-old Isaiah."

The little boy was shown in the studio dressed in a black and white plaid shirt with headphones on and arms wide open, recording the classic with his mom.

Alongside the track listing was a gorgeous photo of the "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer in a white angelic gown, sitting in the snow with trees around.

The "Cry Pretty" crooner concluded the trailer, explaining that the album's title is a reflection of her desire to give back to God the singing gift he blessed her with.

Isaiah isn't the only superstar bringing this golden album to light as the singer unveiled the tracklist and collaborations via a post on Instagram recently.

The 11-song album features classics like "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night" alongside some original tunes to whet fans' appetites.

Among the new songs is one written and performed by singer John Legend, titled "Hallelujah," and Underwood was excited about the track as seen in the caption.

She also collaborated with Greg Wells, a Grammy Award-winning producer, and the world-class orchestra led by the iconic David Campbell on the project.

The 37-year-old is also a proud mother to 19-month-old son Jacob Bryan, and she shares both boys with her husband, Mike Fisher.

Last year, the doting mom talked about the wide 4-year age gap between her boys, Isaiah and Jacob, saying it was God's plan. In her words:

"We initially in our lives kind of wanted our kids a little closer in age. That didn't happen, because God has a different plan sometimes."

Fans may recall that after welcoming Isaiah in February 2015, Underwood and Fisher experienced three heartbreaking miscarriages before Jacob came along in January 2019.

However, the timing turned out perfect for the couple as big brother Isaiah helps make the load lighter, as the family lives in one accord.
