Here's How 'Today' Anchor Craig Melvin's Family Celebrated His Son Going to 1st Grade
NBC's Craig Melvin's wife, and fellow star, Lindsay Czarniak, showed her joy on social media as she celebrated their young son's academic milestone.
Fox star Lindsay Czarniak could not get enough of her son's academic prowess as she let fans on Instagram know that the youngster was starting the new school year as a first-grader.
The excited mom shared some photos which showed her and her family celebrating and cheering the adorable little boy as she shared a thoughtful message in her caption.

A SWEET MILESTONE
A first-grader never looked better than Melvin's young son, Delano, in the photos his mom shared. The first snapshot showed the star mom and the celebrant rocking colorful face masks as they shared a sweet moment and posed for the selfie. She wrote in the post:
"Celebrating our first-grader with take out breakfast at the same place we went during the delay on the expected last day of school in march…"
Czarniak,42, went on by extending her greetings to parents and teachers as she encouraged them on the coming experience with homeschooling.
The doting mom was not the only one celebrating as the next slide showed her star spouse. Craig Melvin rocking a big smile while holding their son in one hand.
INSIDE MELIVIN'S LOVELY FAMILY
The couple hit it off in 2008 after meeting as co-workers. At the time, Czarniak had just returned from covering the Beijing Olympics and met Melvin, the new guy at the office. They immediately bonded over their love for the same music genre.
She made it known that being a working mom was a welcomed adventure.
The duo also had a love for the Whatchamacallit candy bars. They kept it private for a while before their colleagues noticed the office romance. '
Czarniak and Melvin tied the knot three years later and had their first child, Delano, in 2014. They welcomed their second child, Cybil "Sibby," two years later.
FACTS ABOUT CZARNIAK
The sportscaster worked at ESPN for six years before heading to SportsCenter, where she presently hosts their 6 pm sports show. She has also worked at WRC-TV, owned by NBC.
It is safe to say that Czarniak was born into a publication family as her dad is the managing editor at USA Today. She once mentioned that her parents were a positive influence on her chosen field.
The mom-of-two also shows her expertise in Hollywood. She appeared in the 2000 film "Aquarius" as the character Mist.
As a working mom, Czarniak is able to handle motherhood and her career by indulging in meditation and some prayers. She made it known that being a working mom was a welcomed adventure.
