Giuliana Rancic and Bill Rancic Have Been Married for 13 Years — Glimpse into Their Love Story
TV personality Giuliana Rancic, best known as one of the anchors of E! News, has been married to her husband Bill Rancic for over a decade. Their love story is one of a kind.
Giuliana and Bill met each other in 2005 when she was asked to interview him shortly after he won "The Apprentice." Years after getting married, Giuliana confessed that she and a friend used to watch the show each week and that Bill was her crush.

BILL AND GIULIANA RANCIC'S LOVE STORY
The entertainment reporter revealed that her friend would always tell her, "you need to marry [Bill]," something she would eventually do.
As E! Online reported, Bill and Giuliana's 2005 interview included some flirtatious talk. When she asked him about his love life, for example, he didn't reply immediately. Instead, he redirected the same question to Giuliana.
It was only after the TV personality admitted that her busy lifestyle prevented her from having spare time to date that Bill said, "that's how it is for me."
After that, "The Apprentice" winner teased Giuliana about the young Californian surfers who were probably on her radar, but she wittily responded that she liked "a businessman."
BILL AND GIULIANA KNEW THEY HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL RIGHT AWAY
About their first meeting, Bill told ABC News in 2014 that they knew they had something special right away, especially because only two hours into it, they were making plans for three and four months in advance.
Phones in hand while having dinner in Malibu, Bill and Giuliana Rancic were trying to make their schedules work to meet somewhere else in the future.
For the third or fourth date, Giuliana went to Bill's hometown, Chicago, and that's when they both knew that they were meant to be with each other for the rest of their lives.
Then, on December 15, 2006, Bill proposed, and he got his sisters' help to prepare the whole proposal. First, a limo picked Giuliana up at the airport in Chicago as she flew in from Los Angeles.
BILL RANCIC'S PROPOSAL TO GIULIANA
In a desolated area, the driver of the vehicle pulled over and got out, which made Giuliana "understandably upset and worried." He then opened the door, and Bill was standing there with a helicopter waiting for them to look at the Christmas lights.
After enjoying a few glasses of champagne and listening to Michael Bublé, they flew over Michigan Avenue, where Bill got down on one knee.
He pointed out that he didn't ask her to marry him, technically, but she said "yes" anyway. On September 7, 2007, the couple tied the knot on the isle of Capri.
While Bill and Giuliana Rancic's love story is nothing short of impressive, they have experienced some very challenging times throughout their time together.
In 2011, for example, the TV personality was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and took cancer-suppressing medication, which made it risky for her to get pregnant.
GIULIANA RANCIC'S SON, DUKE
For that reason, the couple decided to expand their family through surrogacy. After Duke, Bill and Giuliana Rancic's baby boy, was born via surrogate in 2012, the couple was left with three embryos.
In 2014, two of them were successfully implanted in the surrogate, but she miscarried them a few weeks later. In April 2015, Giuliana made headlines again after revealing that they lost their last embryo. She announced in October 2019, though, that she's "hoping to grow" her family soon.
Shortly after Duke was born, Giuliana made a controversial statement after confessing that the secret to a happy marriage was to put her husband before her kid.
Judging by all the years that they have been together ― and that Stephen and Ayesha Curry live by the same principle ― it is fair to say that their strategy works.
In September 2020, the TV personality announced that she and her whole family had tested positive for coronavirus, which was why she was not hosting the 2020 Emmy Awards' red-carpet event.
She added that, fortunately, her whole family was doing okay. At the moment, Giuliana Rancic, her husband, and son are quarantining together at their home.
