Dolly Parton and Her Husband Carl Dean Still Have Date Nights after 56 Years Together
Singer Dolly Parton revealed the secrets to her long-lasting relationship with her husband, Carl Dean. Even after 56 years together, the couple still has romantic date nights.
Dolly Parton is not only one of the greatest country singers of all time; she also has a great marriage with her husband, Carl Dean.
During a recent interview with People, Parton opened up about how she and Dean have managed to keep their love going during their 56 years together.

Despite their busy schedules, the singer revealed that they still manage to go on dates. She added that Dean also takes time to bring her flowers or write sweet poems in her honor.
Though one of their first dates was at McDonald's, Parton prefers to cook and pack it up for a picnic in the park. Other times, they could just go to a motel or simply have a candlelight dinner. She added:
"It's like certain days; you feel a certain way. And I'll say, 'I'm going to surprise him.'"
Parton said the secret to her successful marriage is how she has been comfortable in her own skin over the years. The singer described herself as a passionate person and explained that being who she is had been a fantastic journey.
A&E announced that they would be releasing a documentary special called, "Biography: Dolly."
Though Dean and Parton never had children during their marriage, the singer had come to terms with it over time. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Parton and Dean have spent a lot of time together, and she once joked that they might not make it to their next anniversary being in quarantine with each other.
Parton and Dean are only one of the numerous celebrity couples in Hollywood who have successful marriages. However, one thing they all have in common is that they have found the secrets to make their union work and don't seem to mind sharing these tips with others.
Earlier in March, A&E announced that they would be releasing a documentary special called, "Biography: Dolly," which follows the country legend's journey.
The documentary highlighted Parton's life from childhood to her recent 50th anniversary celebration at the Grand Ole Opry.
With her angelic voice, it is no surprise that Parton is one of the most iconic country singers of her time. And with her spirited personality, it comes as no surprise that Dean still can't get enough of her — even after all these years.
