Morgan was born in March 1992 in Ontario, Canada, but has been living in Los Angeles for years due to her acting career. Her first acting gig came her way in 2000 when she portrayed the young version of Ebony Scrooge in "A Diva's Christmas Carol."
Seven years later, the actress started portraying Amanda Pierce in the TV series "The Latest Buzz." Morgan then played Sarah in the Disney Channel film (and then TV show) "My Babysitter's a Vampire."

VANESSA MORGAN IN "RIVERDALE"
Before 2017, Vanessa Morgan was relatively famous. However, her career skyrocketed when she joined the cast of "Riverdale" during season two in late 2017, immediately amassing a large fanbase.
Although she has been portraying Toni Topaz flawlessly throughout the years, Morgan originally auditioned for a different character in the show: Josie McCoy (played by Ashleigh Murray).
In November 2017, Morgan shared some details about her experience working in "Riverdale." She described Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones) as a "great team partner" who she has a lot of fun on set with.
While the young actress said that Sprouse was a great guy and actor, she pointed out that Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom) was actually one of her best friends.
Morgan also admitted that she got death threats after being cast for "Riverdale" because her character is supposed to interfere with Bughead, Jughead and Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart)'s relationship. About it, Morgan said:
"When you're on a show that has a fandom that's this big, you're going to get the people that are trolls behind a computer, that say crazy things like that."
MICHAEL KOPECH AND VANESSA MORGAN'S RELATIONSHIP
As per Morgan's love life, she is currently married to Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech. The actress and the baseball player started dating in mid-2018, a few months after hde left Kim Zolciak's eldest daughter Brielle Biermann.
Sadly, Kopech had to get a Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament. During his recovery, he had Morgan by his side for support, and it was a big reason for him to pop the question in July 2019.
Through an Instagram post, the White Sox pitcher gushed about the fact that Vanessa Morgan stayed with him when he felt he had "lost" his mind, making clear at the end of the caption that he loved her, and even promising to always show her that.
Morgan and Kopech surprised their fans in January 2020 by getting married at the Walton Historic House in Florida. The ceremony was relatively private, as only 40 guests were invited.
MICHAEL KOPECH AND VANESSA MORGAN'S MARRIAGE AND SPLIT
Later that month, they told the "White Sox Talk" podcast that their first date was so "easy" and "comfortable" that Kopech felt as though he had known her "for a lifetime." Morgan and Kopech pointed out that they knew they'd be together "right away."
Then, in July 2020, Vanessa Morgan took to Instagram to announce that she is expecting her first child, a baby boy. Some fans noticed that Kopech was not included in the post.
Only three days after the baby news hit the internet, it was revealed that Kopech and Morgan had parted ways. The MLB player filed for divorce in Texas on June 19, six months after tying the knot.
It is important to point out that Kopech, who has been dealing with some mental health issues for years, decided not to play this season for "personal reasons." Vanessa Morgan's ex-partner missed all of 2019 due to his UCL injury, too.
