John Stamos Holds Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in Throwback 'Full House' Footage from 1989

Celebrated actor John Stamos gave fans a blast from the past by uploading previously unreleased throwback footage from August 1989 when the cast members of "Full House" filmed in Hawaii.

In the video he shared on Instagram on September 25, John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the sitcom and its Netflix revival "Fuller House," can be seen hugging Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

There was also a clip of actress Lori Loughlin, who played Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis on the hit television series created by Jeff Franklin for ABC network.

"Full House Hawaii '89," the 57-year-old actor wrote in the caption dating the clip that has amassed more than 489,000 views. "Thank you guys for showing up to vote through #goodtovote!"

Stamos added that they more than doubled their voter mark, so as promised, they shared unreleased footage from "Full House" when they filmed an episode in Hawaii. Stamos gushed over the bond his co-stars created at the time. He wrote:

"You can see how much we loved each other off-camera - that still exists today. It's not too late to register."

Earlier this month, Stamos, who first gained recognition for his role as Blackie Parrish on the TV series "General Hospital," uploaded a video on Instagram of himself along with his 2-year-old son, Billy.

The clip shows the actor vowing to post throwback footage of the sitcom's cast if 100 fans registered to vote through the non-partisan HeadCount organization.

In the late '90s, [Stamos] founded St. Amos Productions.

In the video, the multi-awarded actor quipped that he does not normally pimp his child, Billy, out for anything, but that he could use his help to encourage everyone to register to vote.

Aside from Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Loughlin, the other stars of the show, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier, and Bob Saget, can also be seen in the throwback video.

In one heartwarming scene, the show's cast members can be seen singing "Happy Birthday" to Stamos on what would have been his twenty-sixth birthday.

Meanwhile, alongside his contributions to several television series and films, Stamos has also starred on Broadway and toured and recorded with The Beach Boys.

In the late '90s, he founded St. Amos Productions. Intended as a venture to keep the actor working in between acting roles, the company primarily focused on small-screen productions.

Stamos was married to supermodel Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005. In February 2018, he tied the knot with actress Caitlin McHugh and two months later, the couple welcomed their first child, son Billy.
