Following the shocking divorce, Stause said she needed to get help in overcoming the difficulties that followed. She was reported to have said that her conscience is totally clear despite the shame of how Hartley blindsided her.

Stause was very jealous of the women Hartley interacted with during their two years of marriage.

The actress reportedly accused Hartley of cheating on her with now-girlfriend Sofia Pernas. Stause gave details of their breakup on "Selling Sunset," which, according to her, was a way of letting off some dark emotions.

Following Stause's allegations of infidelity, Hartely's first ex-wife Lindsay Korman-Hartley was said to have sprung up to his defense to discredit suggestions that he cheated.

The 42-year-old Lindsay referred to Hartley as a solid man who is a devoted father. Lindsay shares a 16-year-old daughter with Hartley, whom she was with from 2003 to 2012.

Stause has said that she is ready to move on and find love again. She recently said that she froze her eggs in the hope that she would start a family someday.

According to the actress, she did that to take the pressure off her next love life. The actress noted that she is open to dating again and has put her painful experience behind her.
