American actress Chrishell Stause admitted that seeing her ex-husband, Justin Hartley, dating again, was painful after their divorce.

After her divorce from her ex-husband, American actress Chrishell Stause has revealed that seeing him move on so quickly reopened fresh wounds in her heart.

In November 2019, "This Is Us" actor Justin Hartley, filed for divorce from his wife, Stause, which came as a surprise. Hartley was said to have informed her of the divorce through a text message, minutes before it went viral.

Almost a year after their divorce, the "Selling Sunset" star, Stause, has disclosed that it was painful seeing her ex-husband dating so soon, less than a year after their divorce.

Stause reportedly said that it felt like a sting seeing Hartley go public with his relationship, making her think she was quickly replaced. Hartley, 43, has since moved back into the arms of his former "Young and the Restless" co-star, Sofia Pernas. Stause said,

"I feel like anybody would be heartbroken to see how quickly or easily you are replaced; of course, that's going to sting."

The real estate agent, who is currently competing in the "Dancing With the Stars," recently dropped the Hartley surname, hinting that she would not be found where she was not wanted.

Following the shocking divorce, Stause said she needed to get help in overcoming the difficulties that followed. She was reported to have said that her conscience is totally clear despite the shame of how Hartley blindsided her.

Stause was very jealous of the women Hartley interacted with during their two years of marriage.

The couple was married for two years, but to the soap actress, it felt like six. According to her, Hartley's way out of situations was quitting even when it could easily be walked through.

According to local sources, Stause was very jealous of the women Hartley interacted with during their two years of marriage. She found it challenging to cope with other women being around him, even if it was for professional purposes.

The actress reportedly accused Hartley of cheating on her with now-girlfriend Sofia Pernas. Stause gave details of their breakup on "Selling Sunset," which, according to her, was a way of letting off some dark emotions.

Following Stause's allegations of infidelity, Hartely's first ex-wife Lindsay Korman-Hartley was said to have sprung up to his defense to discredit suggestions that he cheated.

The 42-year-old Lindsay referred to Hartley as a solid man who is a devoted father. Lindsay shares a 16-year-old daughter with Hartley, whom she was with from 2003 to 2012.

Stause has said that she is ready to move on and find love again. She recently said that she froze her eggs in the hope that she would start a family someday.

According to the actress, she did that to take the pressure off her next love life. The actress noted that she is open to dating again and has put her painful experience behind her.
