Former NBA star Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire Wade was recently in an inspiring mood as he took to his Instagram page to share a cute throwback photo of himself with his famous dad playing hoops.

Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire, is following in his famous father's footsteps with his sights set on a basketball career. Apart from his enormous talent and height standing at 6-foot-3, he also has enough self-belief to take him the distance.

The young prospect recently took to his Instagram page to share a cute throwback picture of himself posing beside a wall picture that sweetly captures the father and son playing hoops together.

In the wall art, the duo could be seen playing hoops while wearing the famous Wade number 3 jersey with Zaire appearing in oversized shorts and sneakers.

Zaire posed beside the wall art while wearing a Mickey mouse shirt and smiled brightly at the camera. He uploaded the picture on Instagram alongside the caption:

"Watch me turn my dreams to reality."

Zaire, 18, will soon be heading off to college, and he is currently considering his best college options with his family's guidance. He spent the last year as a senior in Sierra Canyon High School, California.

The 18-year-old point guard is not quite finished with his education as he already has multiple options available to him to further his education and build on his basketball career.

Wade sent his son off to Brewster Academy boarding school in New Hampshire with a heartfelt farewell letter.

In 2018, the three-star prospect received his first Division I offer from the University of Nebraska. Subsequently, he has received scholarship offers from DePaul, Rhode Island, and Toledo.

While he has only received one offer from a Power 5 team, Zaire may still have several other college options to ponder soon, including the Miami Hurricanes, the Marquette Golden Eagles, and the Duke Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, Zaire spent his senior year playing basketball for Sierra Canyon High School, California, alongside LeBron James's son, Bronny.

After injuring his ankle during his senior year, the younger Wade announced his plans to transfer to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire to complete a post-graduate year.

In August, Wade sent his son off to Brewster Academy boarding school in New Hampshire with a heartfelt farewell letter which he shared alongside a cute family photo on his Instagram page.

Zaire's stepmom, actress Gabrielle Union also took to her Instagram stories to share an emotional post while preparing to send her stepson off to boarding school.

Zaire is only at the beginning of his sports career but a lot of hype has already been built around him in the last few years. He has his father's oversized shoes to fill, but the young point guard is not short on talent.
