Brittany Williams has had handsome Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in her sights for a long, long time, even though they only started dating in 2016.

Josh Allen is quickly becoming one of the NFL's hottest quarterbacks, and his legions of fans are eager to know all about him. They can quote his stats, but few know that he has known his girlfriend Brittany Williams since he was a child.

Josh and Brittany grew up in Firebaugh, California, a small town in Fresno County, and attended the same high school, Firebaugh High School, but it wasn't until college that they started dating.

THE QUARTERBACK AND THE CHEERLEADER

Brittany and Josh were the perfect high school couple: he was the popular quarterback, and she was the beautiful cheerleader, but somehow that romance just didn't spark.

It was only when they were attending college, Brittany at Fresno State and Josh at the University of Wyoming -- a 17-hour drive away -- that the romance between the two blossomed.

CHILDHOOD CRUSH

Brittany has confessed that she had a huge crush on Josh long before high school and college. He stole her heart when he flirted with her when she was just eight years old, and she's been starry-eyed ever since.

Brittany grew up around football, as her dad, Chris Williams, was Fresno State's star linebacker back in 1994, and was named honorary captain of the Bulldogs in 2018.

At that time, Brittany was one of Fresno State's cheerleaders, and it was then that the beautiful blue-eyed brunette caught Josh's eye. Josh was a longtime fan of the Bulldogs and had applied to the Fresno State and been rejected.

In high school, Josh had been just as dedicated to basketball and baseball as he had been to football. He was also working on his parents' farm, and helping out at his mom's restaurant in Firebaugh.

Josh is now leading the team to victory after victory, and in the new COVID-19 pandemic 2020 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills are so far undefeated

Football was something he loved, but it wasn't the entire focus of his life, so when the time came to apply for a sports scholarship, colleges just didn't consider him a prospect. He said:

"I didn’t get looked at and didn’t get recruited by Fresno State (...) it has always been my goal to go into every game and show you why you should have recruited me, why you should have offered me.”

Today, Josh is a rising star in the NFL, and all those colleges who turned him down are a distant memory. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2018 and in 2019, he was named team captain.

Josh is now leading the team to victory after victory, and in the new COVID-19 pandemic 2020 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills are so far undefeated, having won all four of the games they played.

JOSH ALLEN'S BIGGEST FAN

Cheering him on at every game is Brittany, who is undoubtedly Josh's biggest fan, on and off the field. The couple has been together for four years now, and fans are waiting for Josh to pop the question, but the couple is bidding its time.

Josh and Brittany often attend sports events together and watch baseball and basketball together. The svelte Brittany is no longer a cheerleader; she has become a Pilates instructor.

COVID-19 SCARE

The couple went through anxious moments in August 2020 when Josh and more than 70 other NFL players tested positive for COVID-19, but fortunately, it turned out to be a false-positive.

September 10, 2020 saw the return of the NFL Teams to the playing fields -- among them Josh's Buffalo Bills -- after the lockdown, but there are severe restrictions to protect the players and the staff during the ongoing pandemic.

The measures include daily tests for COVID-19, and mandatory isolation of infected individuals. Players are also forbidden from indulging in high-risk activities such as attending indoor concerts or church services, and of course, night clubs and bars.

Josh started off the season brilliantly, leading the Buffalo Bills to a resounding win over the New York Jets, 27 to 17. The team is on a winning streak, scoring win after win: 31 to 28 over the Dolphins, 35 to 32 over the Rams, and 30 to 23 over the Raiders.
