One lengthy comment began by acknowledging that Austin's decision depended all on her because Chanel was her child.
The commenter said that breastfeeding a grown child is uncomfortable and that although he/she was not there to argue, they thought it was best to put the milk in a sippy cup for the child instead.

This is not the first time Ice-T's wife has come under prying eyes and scrutiny for her decision to continue breastfeeding her daughter.
In September 2019, Austin came under a lot of fire when she shared a photo of her breastfeeding her 4-year-old daughter, Chanel.
Austin addressed the criticisms in an interview where she explained her reasons. According to the 41-year-old, breastfeeding did not only involve the child breastfeeding, the mother and child also got the opportunity to bond deeply.
The mom of one said that Chanel still ate food like cheeseburgers. Breastfeeding was their time to bond, and she was happy that Chanel had not outgrown the phase yet.
Months after, the mother and daughter duo are still sticking to their choice, and they have continued to be the best "twins" they can be.
