Meghan McCain Shares the First Photo of Her 2-Week-Old Daughter Liberty — Here She Is

In a recent post on Instagram, American columnist, author, and television personality Meghan McCain for the first time, gave her followers a glimpse of her two-week-old daughter Liberty.

In the heartwarming photo, the 35-year-old was seen delicately cradling the bundle of joy swaddled in white sheets. The baby's head was also gently resting against her mother's chest.

McCain was clad in a black long-sleeved top and had her highlighted blonde hair casually brushed to the back. Her fresh face was makeup-free as she smiled gently into the camera.

The photo was taken in what looked like a backyard, with beautiful flowers dotting the sides of the brown brick walls. Beneath the picture, the new mother captioned: "Bliss. ♥️ ?"

The television star and her husband Ben Domenech, welcomed their daughter last September. McCain did not fail to keep her fans updated on the pregnancy journey.

Two weeks before the delivery, she shared a stunning selfie of her very pregnant self. The star explained that she was trying to keep herself all glammed up as she anticipated her due date.

McCain went through a tough time with the internet trolls and their nasty remarks.

Earlier this year, McCain, however, revealed that she wanted to keep her daughter out of the public eye. She divulged that she and Domenech made the conscious decision to guard their family's privacy as much as possible.

She then added she believed children have a right to privacy and hoped her fans would understand as they tried to navigate the progressive journey without sacrificing their comfort or safety.

McCain, however, gave her fans sneak peeks into her life. In August, she opened up about how much she appreciated Domenech for his unending support. She also spoke about the difficult nesting phase in pregnancy.

It is, nonetheless, not a surprise that the couples decided to maintain their privacy. In 2018, McCain's father, Senator John McCain, died of cancer, and the star went through a tough time with the internet trolls and their nasty remarks.

Senator McCain took part in the presidential race as the Republican nominee in 2008. He, unfortunately, came out unsuccessful, and years later, got diagnosed with brain cancer.

The overpowering love for democracy evidently runs in the family because his daughter Meghan was inspired to name her adorable baby Liberty Sage McCain Domenech.
