Many things are great about the internet. One of those would be the hilarious meme culture that has grown over the years and, most recently, has even crept into the royal family. KFC recently took to Twitter with a comical photo of Prince William and wrote:

"William whispered quietly to himself; Oh, I just can't wait to be wing."

Accompanying the caption was a rather funny shot of the Duke of Cambridge himself peeping into a KFC restaurant through the glass of the restaurant as though he were intensely searching for something.

Dressed in a pristine navy blue suit, the Duke looked every bit as royal as he possibly could. That, however, did not stop the fans from joining the famous fast-food brand in poking fun at his photo.

One Twitter user tweeted the photo, saying that the Prince's peeping into KFC was what they looked like when they were on a diet. Another user jokingly interpreted that the Duke was probably thinking that he needed to order a KFC when he got back home.

ITV news journalist Lizzie Robinson hopped on the chain with her "one bargain bucket to go" quip, and a user joked that the Prince was looking to get a takeaway whilst he looked at his wife, Kate's #HoldStill2020 project.

The photo of Prince William's moment of craving is very heartwarming.

Among the many memes that continued to roll in, the esteemed Duke of Cambridge, Prince William succeeded in landing himself a new title: "His Royal Thighness."

The photo was reportedly captured when the Prince and his wife, Kate Middleton, stepped out to meet participants in her Hold Still photography project, which began in May to chronicle various experiences amid the pandemic.

The photo of Prince William's moment of craving is very heartwarming alongside the many incredible stories that his wife's project has succeeded in telling.

Another wave of tweets scored the Prince yet another title, "Lord of the Fries," and many other names that were too hilarious to ignore as the trend got bigger.

Many of the memes included new names like "Chicken a la King," with cleverly thought-out puns like he was keeping "a breast" of the locals' activities.

Although the eating habits of the royal family vary from the rest of the world's, the Prince would have a field day scrolling through the memes laughing at the hilariousness of it all!
