Check Out Bryshere Y Gray AKA Hakeem Lyon on 'Empire' Show His Fit Body While Posing Shirtless
Bryshere Y. Gray, the actor best known for portraying Hakeem Lyon in “Empire,” treated his 4.6 million Instagram followers with yet another shirtless photo.
On October 22, 26-year-old actor Bryshere Y. Gray took to Instagram to share a picture of himself showing off his muscular upper body while wearing what appeared to be white Calvin Klein underwear.
Instead of smiling, Gray was looking at the camera with a serious facial expression. In the caption, the actor wrote that he’d turn 27 on November 28 and asked his followers to share their “early wishes” in the comment section.

As expected, thousands of netizens flooded him with birthday wishes. Some people also took the chance to praise Gray’s good looks, calling him everything from “handsome,” “babe,” “bae,” and “husband.”
It is not the first shirtless pic that Gray has uploaded on social media, though. Last year, the “Empire” star shared two images rocking dark sunglasses, swim shorts, and flexing his muscles.
Speaking of “Empire,” it is the show where Gray debuted as an actor. Back in 2015, he was in an interview with Complex to share some details about his experience working with such a successful TV series.
He explained that it was sometimes challenging, especially when he had to spend 18 hours on set and then had to go to the studio to record a song for four more hours.

HIS TIME ON “EMPIRE”
Apart from that, Gray admitted that the show’s storyline was the main reason “Empire” was so popular and broadly accepted. He praised creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong for what they do, too.
Bryshere Y. Gray pointed out that Taraji P. Henson, who portrays Cookie in the show, was like his big sister, adding that she was always willing to help him on set.
Speaking to the Chicago Tribune in 2017, Gray confessed that he worked with music producer Timbaland for the first season of the show as they were trying to “figure out the sound” of Hakeem, his character on the show.
Gray also said that working on “Empire” made him the actor and musician he is nowadays, capable of embodying a script only weeks after getting it.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT
Unfortunately, Gray attracted a lot of negative attention in July 2020 after he was arrested on domestic violence and disorderly conduct charges for supposedly hurting his wife at her Goodyear home in Arizona.
The actor was taken into custody about nine hours after a 911 call was made as Gray allegedly refused to leave the residence to talk to officers. The details of his case are unknown.
