Adele Reveals Her Relationship Status as She Responds to Rumors That She's Dating Rapper Skepta
While Adele expressed the fun she had recently hosting "Saturday Night Live," she also dropped her "single" status amid rumors that she started dating the rapper Skepta.
Adele loved hosting "Saturday Night Live," and in the process of showing her gratitude, she also made it clear that she is not dating anyone despite reports from sources that said otherwise.
Earlier the same day, PEOPLE published an article wherein a source told them that Adele and rapper Skepta are "having fun," with the temperature steadily rising between them. But Adele dismissed the report as she confirmed her relationship status in her latest social media update.
'SNL' FUN
The 32-year-old singer enjoyed being back on "Saturday Night Live," and she made sure to thank the cast and crew for being such a "sublime bunch" of people.
Grateful for the experience, Adele went on to thank a bunch of people before dropping the bomb on her relationship status. The first time Adele appeared on "SNL," it was in 2008 when she became an overnight sensation after performing "Cold Shoulder" and "Chasing Pavements."
THE STATUS ANNOUNCEMENT
Alongside a picture taken of her while she hosted "SNL," Adele wished all her fans a happy Halloween before sharing how she intends on spending the rest of the year and wrote:
"I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year."
According to the source that spoke with PEOPLE, Adele and Skepta move around in the same social circles, and they have reportedly been linked romantically as far back as October last year.
She had just filed for divorce from her husband Simon Konecki, with whom she shares an 8-year-old son, Angelo. However, the pair remained committed to giving their child the best environment possible.

SHE JOKED ABOUT HER APPEARANCE
Adele's astonishing weight loss made her look completely different, and she addressed it jokingly in her monologue on "SNL" before the show got underway and said:
"I had to travel light and I could only bring half of me," she joked. "And this is the half I chose."
DEDICATED TO HER SON'S WELL-BEING
Konecki and Adele reportedly live across from each other in Los Angeles, a strategic move to make co-parenting of Angelo easier for everyone. Their marriage lasted more than seven years and kept Angelo's well-being their main priority after it ended.
With people in quarantine, Adele had time to work on her weight loss virtually undetected, so when she shared a fabulous selfie on her 32nd birthday earlier this year, the slim woman in the picture didn't look anything like the Adele everyone came to know.
