Savannah Guthrie's Fans Try to Guess the Cocktail She's Making & Say She's Earned a Break

TV anchor Savannah Guthrie’s fans had a field day guessing what she was up to as she teased a snapshot that indicated she wanted to make cocktails. They also let the TV star know that she deserved her break from work.

Savannah Guthrie had her fans buzzing on her Instagram timeline as they excitedly interacted in one of her recent posts. The TV star shared an up-close photo of what she was up to in her kitchen, and many followers took turns guessing what the end product would be.

In the image, Guthrie hinted that she was going to make a cocktail as she showed a jagged knife and two limes cut in half. Many fans in the comments shared their suggestions and thoughts on the type of cocktail the “Today” star would make.

While one follower indicated that the NBC broadcaster’s post looked like the beginning of Margaritas, another lightly hoped it was. A third fan did not hold back on their curiosity as they made several guesses ranging from guacamole, Margaritas to Cosmopolitan.

While another admirer wanted to know if Guthrie was making a key lime pie, someone noted that she earned her work break. More fans shared the same sentiment as they chipped in that the "Today" co-anchor was hardworking.

The 48-year-old might have left fans guessing what cocktail she was making, but it is safe to say she does have good taste in drinks. Although the caption of her post left no clues whatsoever as it simply read, "Friday."

One of her fun moments off work was when she and fellow star Hoda Kotb took some time off the TV to attend Jimmy Buffet's Broadway Musical, "Escape to Margaritaville."

At the event, Kotb and Guthrie indulged in mugs of booze while Jimmy Buffet opted out of taking alcoholic beverages due to his strict diet. It is safe to say that fans were right when they mentioned that the seasoned broadcaster deserved her break to make "margaritas probably."

However, Guthrie's expertise over the years goes before her in the media. The mom-of-two started as a journalist but was out of a job ten days after she began working.

Guthrie did not stop there as she went on to work as a criminal lawyer for a few years. However, after her stint in jurisprudence, the star returned to TV. In 2012, she joined NBC as a "Today" co-host, and since then, it's been milestone upon milestone.

Presently, the TV personality is home with her kids, where she has been taking a break after covering the recently concluded elections. On her Instagram page, the star mom showed off the precious time with her little ones as she noted how she had been looking forward to it.
