Gordon Ramsay Pens a Heartfelt Tribute to Late 'MasterChef Junior' Alum Ben Watkins

Following the news of "MasterChef Junior" star Ben Watkins' passing, Chef Gordon Ramsay paid his respects with a touching tribute penned on his Twitter in honor of Watkins.

After the death of "MasterChef Junior" star Ben Watkins, Chef Gordon Ramsay took to his Twitter to publicly mourn the young star and extend his condolences to the boy's family. He tweeted:

"We lost a Master of the @MasterChefJrFOX kitchen today. Ben you were an incredibly talented home cook and even stronger young man."

Ramsay continued, praising the late Watkins for being so strong as he admirably and resiliently pushed through the many tough turns that plagued his young life.

The famous chef and restaurateur concluded his heartfelt tribute to Watkins by sending all his love to the late teenager's family as they try to cope with their terrible loss.

Ramsay's tribute accompanied a precious photo of Watkins in his chef regalia. The late teenager wore an eye-catching tie-dye t-shirt beneath a pristine white "MasterChef Junior" apron with his name boldly written on it.

The chef's fans joined him in mourning the loss of the young and vibrant star, as they all remembered him for bringing his joy and ambition to the show. Watkins would be greatly missed.

Tana revealed that she and Ramsay suffered a miscarriage in 2016.

Watkins, known and praised for his extraordinary skill and culinary knowledge, was 14 years old when he passed away on Monday, November 16.

The tragedy struck after he had bravely and admirably fought his cancer for a year and a half. Tragedy, pain, and loss were not new to young Watkins as he had been dealt with tough cards almost all his life.

The teenager died just five months after he was diagnosed with angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma and well over two years after both of his parents died in what was deemed a murder-suicide.

Watkins was featured on the sixth season of "MasterChef Junior" at the age of 11 and wowed everyone, including his family, with his strength, bravery, and zeal for life.

Ramsay's tribute to the young star was only one among the many other touching tributes to him. The 54-year-old also got to reflect on a loss that he and his wife of 24 years, Tana, suffered.

Tana revealed that she and Ramsay suffered a miscarriage in 2016 and revealed that her husband stood by her firmly, giving her the best support system she could have asked for. With this reflection and Watkins' passing, it is clear that Ramsay cares deeply for those around him.
