Pregnant Zonnique Pullins Slammed for Attending a Birthday Party Amid COVID-19 — Here's Why
It was a lovely moment turned sour when the pregnant star, Zonnique Pullins, received backlash for attending Reginae Carter's birthday party in her delicate stage during a pandemic.
Disturbed fans took to Twitter to share their opinions after Zonnique Pullins was recently spotted with her partner, Bandhunta Izzy, having fun at a party. A particular fan said:
"I love Zonnique, but she was irresponsible."

This reaction is mainly due to the ongoing pandemic and Pullins' current state as an expecting mother. While some fans questioned her eligibility as a mother-to-be, other commentators were perturbed that the celebrity attended the celebration without a face mask. A certain fan said:
"Zonnique a whole pregnant woman was at a huge party without a mask…"
The incident, which took place on November 30, kick-started a back and forth on Twitter, some of which totally supported Pullins' move at the party.
The reprimands outweighed the support as a fan slammed her action saying, either there's COVID-19 or not, Pullins should be at her rest stage, anticipating her child's delivery.
Fans were not having it as a particular fan responded that getting tested three times a week didn't mean that the star couldn't contract the virus.
A second fan added to the nays, stating that the star was irresponsible for celebrating wildly in the club at her delicate stage.
Beyond the correctness of her action, Pullins' act could be regarded as a favor returned to her best friend Reginae Carter, who, together with her mother, Toya Johnson, graced Pullins' baby shower three weeks earlier.
However, the unbothered icon gave a comeback when she asked concerned Twitter users if they'd like to babysit or pay for a birthday in a sassy tweet.
She received further backlash over her response, after which she took to Instagram to share a boomerang video of a health professional prepping COVID-19 tests.
The Instagram video, which was accompanied by a caption, explained that the star and her family got COVID-19 tested three times a week for the reality TV show "T.I and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle."

Despite her altercation, there is no doubt that Pullins has been making major moves as she recently launched her solo career, which she revealed during an interview with WrapWomen.
During a Zoom call with ET's Deidre Behar, Pullins also talked about the launch of her Fox Soul talk show, "The Mix," where she announced her pregnancy on the first episode. The 24-year-old is enjoying the support of her family and her partner as she expects her little bundle of joy.
