Daily Joke: Man Needed to Get off the Train

A man needed to get off a train at a place where the train would not usually make a stop. With the ticket collector's help, he managed to get off at his destination but was pulled back by an ignorant passenger.

A man traveling on a train asked the ticket collector what time it would stop at a place called Victoria. The ticket collector replied and told the man that the train does not stop at the location.

On hearing this, the man became agitated and explained that he had to get off at Victoria. The ticket collector looked at him for a while and offered a solution.

The ticket collector explained that he would get the engineer to slow down the train, after which he would dangle the man out of the door and lower him to the platform.

The man gave it a thought and asked if the plan would work. In response, the ticket collector told him it seemed possible, and it was worth a try.

As they approached the platform, the train slowed down, and the ticket collector hung the man out the door. The man started running mid-air as quickly as possible, and the collector encouraged him to run faster.

He further lowered the man down until his shoes were touching the platform. Soon enough, his shoes started to smoke, and in the end, the heels came off.

By now, the man has made it off the train and starts to slow down. With what had happened, other passengers on the train stared at the man in amazement, wondering how he pulled it off.

As the last car went by, a passenger in the train grabbed the man by the shirt collar and pulled him right back on the moving train.

While helping back on the carriage, the passenger who picked up the man said: "Man, you're lucky I was here to help! This train doesn't even STOP in Victoria!"
