Singer Jewel Sent Letter to Late Friend & Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh to Warn Him about His Lifestyle
Businessman Tony Hsieh died late last month from injuries sustained from a fire accident in Connecticut. Shortly before his death, singer Jewel sent a letter to him, warning him of his lifestyle.
The world of business was thrown into mourning after the death of business mogul Tony Hsieh was announced. Hsieh died on the 27th of November from injuries sustained from a fire accident.
Hsieh reportedly sustained injuries in a house fire during a visit to Connecticut on the 18th of November. Following his death, his old friend and singer Jewel opened up on a letter she sent him before his death.

Jewel was Hsieh's much-anticipated guest during his visit to Park City, Utah. When she arrived, the singer thrilled about 50 residents of the community Hsieh was building, to a private acoustic performance.
A day after her first performance, Jewel abruptly left. Shortly after, she sent the late CEO a message via FedEx. Due to his digital cleansing, he does not text and emails.
Jewel warned the then 46-year-old tech wiz of his lifestyle and addiction to drugs and alcohol. In the letter released to Forbes, the singer told Hsieh that he was not in his right mind.
The COVID-19 lockdown caused Hsieh to feel lonely and depressed, which increased his reliance on drugs and other substances.

Jewel voiced her concern over the people surrounding the late businessman. In the letter, she noted that those around him were either ignorant or willing to let him kill himself.
Jewel criticized the people surrounding Hsieh for letting him do what he wanted. She told him that he was in trouble for surrounding himself with people on his payroll.
According to reports, Hsieh died from complications from smoking inhalation. His death was ruled as an accident. Since his death was announced, entertainers, world leaders, and business people have paid tribute to the late Zappos CEO.
One of those to pay an emotional tribute to the late mogul was his dear friend Jewel. In a tearful Youtube video titled "Elegy for Tony Hsieh," Jewel mourned the business icon.
Jewel rendered a heartwarming acoustic performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and talked about how she met the late tech mogul and described him as fearless.
According to reports, before his death, Hsieh battled with his mental health and loneliness. The COVID-19 lockdown caused Hsieh to feel lonely and depressed, which increased his reliance on drugs and other substances.

Before his untimely death, Hsieh reportedly wanted to go to rehab to get help. The late 46-year-old was making plans to check in to a rehab facility in Hawaii the night before his death.
Hsieh touched the lives of many with his generosity and enormous heart. He was described as one with a flair for life and a heart for people.
