A man named Jamie Wilkes became an internet sensation after sharing a video of himself discovering a hidden doorway with the staircase in a kitchen cupboard.

"Viewed a flat today and I don't think I'll ever be able to stop thinking about the back door," Jamie captioned the video he shared on Twitter on December 9.

The now-viral clip took place somewhere in London. Jamie was inspecting an apartment when he unexpectedly found out that the property had an exit to the back garden.

Jamie came across an unusual set of stairs behind a cabinet door in a kitchen. As shown in the clip, he lifted up the bench and opened a small kitchen cupboard.

The cupboard appeared to hide a secret set of stairs with a door at its bottom. In no time, the video garnered over five million views. Many netizens also retweeted and commented on the clip.

Twitter users were intrigued and completely creeped out by Jamie's surprising discovery. "A bit creepy but they are really trying not to waste space," one person wrote in the comments section.

Jessica Penzari, a publicist, rented her Midtown Manhattan apartment to a woman, who told her she was military.

ANOTHER APARTMENT STORY

The studio apartment, which is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has a shower in the kitchen. The $1,650 a month property went viral after a Twitter user posted about it on her profile.

The apartment was listed on a webpage called StreetEasy. The description of this listing reads: "Luxuries or weird ??! Kitchen or Bathroom vibes? You decide!"

Many people appeared to be weirded out by this apartment. Still, the property got scooped up in two weeks after being listed on the website, as reported by Bored Panda.

AN AIRBNB HORROR STORY

In 2014, Jessica Penzari, a publicist, rented her Midtown Manhattan apartment to a woman, who told her she was military. Penzari later received a call from the police.

They alerted her that the woman had been slashed by a man in a dispute over the cost of services. Apparently, the woman turned out to be a prostitute, according to Fox News.
