Pregnant Pippa Middleton Is a Doting Mom & Loving Wife — Meet Her Son Arthur & Husband James

Pippa Middleton, Duchess Kate’s sister, is currently expecting her second child with her husband, James Matthews. The couple has been in a loving relationship since 2014.

James Matthews, born in August 1975, is a former racing car driver who competed in the British Formula 3 Championship and heir to the Scottish title of Laird of Glen Affric.

Matthews grew up in a wealthy family as his dad, David, owns the Eden Rock resort in St. Barts, a Caribbean island. It was precisely in St. Barts that Matthews met Pippa Middleton for the first time.

MIDDLETON AND MATTHEWS’S RELATIONSHIP

It all happened in 2006, and although they probably felt attracted to each other at the time, they didn’t try to take things to the next level as Matthews had just ended a long relationship.

Apart from that, he was mainly focused on building up his business. As a finance trader, he worked at Nordic Options LTD, where he held the position of an equity options trader.

He now manages a hedge fund and serves as chief executive of Eden Rock Capital Management Group. As a driver, he won the British Formula Renault Championship and Eurocup Formula Renault in 1994.

Six years after Matthews and Middleton met each other, they briefly dated, but it didn’t work. In 2014, after Middleton broke up with her boyfriend Nico Jackson, she and Matthews reconnected.

Middleton confessed that [her son] likes going to the baby gym.

ENLARGING THEIR FAMILY

Eventually, she moved in with him and, on May 20, 2017, they tied the knot at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire. On October 15, 2018, she gave birth to their first kid, Arthur.

The boy, who was eight pounds and nine ounces at birth, was born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, the same place Duchess Kate has given birth to all of her children.

While Middleton and Matthews live a private life, Duchess Kate’s sister once admitted that Arthur was a natural swimmer who enjoyed being in the water and started swimming at four months old.

Apart from that, Middleton confessed that the boy likes going to the baby gym, a place “full of fun, soft objects, playmats, stairs, balls,” and many other things that help stimulate kids.

In mid-December, it was reported that Middleton is pregnant again. Sources claim that Middleton, Matthews, and the whole family are “thrilled” about the “fantastic news.”

So far, the details about the upcoming baby (gender, due date, place of birth) are not available. Princess Charlotte and Princes George and Louis are probably excited for their baby cousin!
