Page Six: Kate Middleton's Sister Pippa Pregnant with 2nd Child & the Whole Family Is Delighted

It’s been reported that Duchess Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton is pregnant with her second child. The author and her husband, James Matthews, are already parents to a baby boy.

According to “Page Six,” Pippa Middleton, 37, is currently pregnant with her second child. The publication claimed Duchess Kate’s younger sister and her husband were “thrilled” by the exciting news.

She and her husband, James Matthews, 45, already share a son named Arthur Michael William, 2. The new baby would be another cousin for Kate’s three children with her husband Prince William.

William and Kate, both 38, are parents to Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and their own 2-year-old son Prince Louis. A source close to the family also shared an update on what the pregnant couple felt, saying:

“It’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted.”

Matthews, a financier, proposed to Pippa on July 17, 2016, with a ring that he designed himself. Kate’s younger sister and her husband then officially tied the knot on May 20, 2017.

Their wedding was held at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire and the couple is currently living together in London with their son. Their little boy was welcomed on October 15, 2018, at 1:58 p.m.

Little Arthur was born at St. Mary's Hospital in London, where the royal children were born, weighing 8 pounds and 9 ounces. The publication also revealed that the couple was close to purchasing a new home.

The new abode is apparently not too far from their current home. The pair are said to be in the process of acquiring a 72-acre country estate called Bucklebury Farm Park in Berkshire.

So far, the Royal Family hasn’t made an announcement about the pregnancy. Throughout the year, Pippa hasn’t been in the spotlight much, however, she recently appeared in a post showing her attending an event.

Pippa appeared at the school to honor the students’ achievements throughout the novel coronavirus pandemic.

On December 11, 2020, Kate’s sister was seen at the Mary Hare School in the UK. The post was uploaded by the school on Twitter and it was revealed that Pippa had been a special guest.

She gave the learners awards for their Christmas card designs as the school’s ambassador. The post included a photo of Kate's sister wearing a red holiday sweater while standing in front of a Christmas tree.
