‘DWTS’ Champion Kaitlyn Bristowe Tests Positive for COVID-19 and Posts Sad Christmas Card
Kaitlyn Bristowe and her boyfriend, Jason Tartick, posed with upset faces on the Christmas card as they tested positive for coronavirus: “We just want to let everyone know that we thought we were being safe.”
The holidays may be here, but so is the coronavirus still, infecting anyone who gives leeway for it to enter their bodies. While many are celebrating with family, others are recovering in quarantine, including Kaitlyn Bristowe.
Sadly, the former “Bachelorette” star’s Christmas Eve and day did not go as planned as she contracted the virus with her boyfriend, Jason Tartick.

Through a social media post that doubled as their Christmas card, Bristowe revealed the sad news and updated fans that they are both in quarantine. She wrote:
“We thought we were making a responsible decision to have ONE person over, who had been tested daily for work [...] The day we saw her, she became positive.”
The pair only found out of the results the following day, and by then, it was too late. Although Christmas will still push through for them, they both have to celebrate in isolation.
The 52-year-old kept fans up-to-date through social media about her status, revealing that she felt symptoms of the virus.
Bristowe looked comfortable in a gray hoodie and no makeup in the photo, while her beau sat behind her, both looking upset at the camera. She added:
“Today, we are thinking of everyone who is spending the holidays alone, anyone who is sick or overcoming something, (as 2020 has taught us to overcome a lot).”
Tartick also took to his Instagram account the devastating news, sharing that they already had a plan in place to see family for Christmas, but unfortunately, they did not follow it thoroughly.
Bristowe gained fame as a “Bachelorette” star and later joined the hit competition show “Dancing With The Stars,” where she took home the grand prize for season 29.
Another celebrity who recently contracted the virus is “The Talk” co-host, Carrie Ann Inaba, who received an overwhelming amount of support and well-wishes from her fans and colleagues.
