Vanessa Laine Bryant has been doing all she can to be a strong mom for her daughters amid a difficult year. Over the Christmas holidays, the Bryant women managed to keep joyous smiles on their faces.

Vanessa filmed herself and her eldest daughter Natalia Bryant enjoying an evening indoors and shared the video on her Instagram story.

The story showed the beautiful Vanessa dressed in a pair of brightly colored striped pajamas, with her long brown hair flowing down to her shoulders.

Behind the doting mom was a festively decorated Christmas tree, and the post was captioned, "Daddy purposely made it that way," with a hashtag that read, "Girldad."

The video also panned around to show Natalia, who was dressed in grey pajamas as she concentrated on her phone, sporting a serious face in one frame then a big smile in another.

Behind Natalia was a fireplace that had six red Christmas stockings on display and several other colorful decorations. As the video progressed, Natalia could be seen flashing her big smile, which closely resembled her father, the late Kobe Bryant.

This Christmas was one of the milestones that Vanessa has had to overcome without her husband and their daughter, Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, who passed away in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26.

The heartbroken mom commemorated the holiday with pics from last year's Christmas alongside a pic of herself and her three remaining daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

Since Bryant and Gianna passed away, Vanessa has kept their memory alive at every possible opportunity. Her social media is full of heartwarming tributes to the father and daughter.

In February, Vanessa announced a change to The Mamba Sports Foundation's name to Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation in order to preserve both Kobe and Gianna's legacy.

Kobe, who will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame next year, was incredibly dedicated to his wife and daughters. He and Vanessa tied the knot in April 2001, and through ups and downs, the couple endured.

Before he and Gianna passed away, the father-daughter duo had become known for their courtside appearances as Gianna had inherited her father's love for basketball.
