Season 9 of "My 600-lb Life" is set to premiere on December 30, and its first episode will introduce a new participant named Samantha. Before the episode airs at 8 pm, TLC decided to tease fans with a preview of Samantha's story.

The preview shared on the network's Instagram page saw the participant speaking about her unique job. In the clip, Samantha revealed that she chose to become a fetish model due to her inability to find a job due to her size.

The participant, who is over 800lbs, works for a website that caters to people who have a fetish for fat women. When it's time to work, she has a camera setup that films her while eating. Speaking about it, she said:

"I eat for people. I just eat what I want, and they pay for it, as long as I film it. So that's how I make a living and keep going..."

It made her feel more like a human and not just an obese person. Despite the confidence that her fetish model job brings, Samantha admits that it is bad for her health and only does more harm than good in reinforcing her eating addiction habits.

She recalled losing some weight six months ago and still weighing 811lbs. According to reports, Samantha hasn't traveled for the past ten years without bariatric transport.

Now that Dr. Sam wants to help change her life, no ambulance in Colorado is willing to transport her. For her case, he has to partner with his colleague in the state, Dr. Heydari, to perform emergency surgery on her before her weight ends her life.

In an exclusive trailer of season 9 shared by Hollywood Life, Samantha described her life as a nightmare she wishes she could wake up from. Other participants were seen crying, with one cast member saying she has to change her habits.

The reality star, who featured in season 8, was previously placed on life support after suffering complications from her gastric bypass surgery. She weighed 643lbs and was able to lose 150lbs after the procedure.
