Robert Irwin Announces Release of Book Written by Sister Bindi with Never-before-Seen Photos
The late Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, recently wrote a book chronicling his legacy, and her brother, Robert Irwin, took to Instagram to gush all about it.
The legacy of a man as great as Steve Irwin could only be written perfectly by someone as close to him as his own daughter, Bindi. In a recent Instagram post, Steve's son, Robert, revealed that his sister has done just that. He announced:
"My amazing sister has written a book! It's the incredible story of Australia Zoo's 50 year history, and the legacy that our dad started."

Robert wrote that Bindi's new book includes never-before-seen pictures from the family's earliest archives. He also added that the book, "Creating a Conservation Legacy," also includes beautiful stories about their father's legacy.
It is written through Bindi and their zoo team's eyes. Concluding his eye-opening announcement, Robert urged his fans and followers to read the book and wrote that he felt very proud of his sister.
Excited to hear the wonderful news, Robert's followers flocked to the comments to share how eager they were to read Bindi's book. They expressed that they were proud of her as well.
After such a long wait, the book release was announced on a day particularly special to Bindi and the rest of her family.
Robert was not the first of the Irwins to share the good news of Bindi's book release. In fact, the writer herself made the announcement months back last November.
The beautiful and smart Bindi revealed that the book, "Creating a Conservation Legacy," chronicling her family's conservationist efforts, would be released for consumption. She shared on Instagram:
"Almost 5 years in the making. I wrote this book to capture the very essence of our extraordinary 50 year history."
Bindi wrote that she spent half a decade doing a lot of research for "Creating A Conservation Legacy," by looking through countless archives, her father's old journals, and several Australia Zoo booklets and photographs.
After such a long wait, the book release was announced on a day particularly special to Bindi and the rest of her family. This was on the day they celebrate the legacy of her late father.
Just weeks before, the 22-year-old took to Twitter yet again with a tribute to Steve on the anniversary of his death, 14 years after he died during a diving expedition in September 2006.
Many of Steve's fans from those days still very much appreciate him and how his children have carried on his legacy. This year, many noted that Robert looks a lot like Steve when Bindi shared a photo of her, her husband, Chandler Powell, and Robert.
Be it in looks, character, or passion, the Australian zoo keepers, Bindi and Robert, emulate many of their late father's great qualities, and now, they get to tell the world their story.
