"This Is Us" fans bombarded social and expressed their concern for Justin Hartley's character, Kevin after the show's creator announced that new episodes of season 5 would be delayed for weeks.
After the sixth episode of season five of "This Is Us" left fans with a cliffhanger last week Tuesday, they were disappointed to find out that they would have to wait a couple of weeks before the story picks up.

Fogelman appealed to fans, urging them to hang in there. He finished his remark, apologizing to them for the delays. Unfortunately, many viewers weren't pleased with the news, expressing their concern for Kevin. One user wrote:
"So Kevin is just gonna be on the side of the road needing help for weeks? I hope he at least has water in the car because…"
Please tell us that Kevin’s ok though? Obviously he is because we’ve seen him in 2030.. but that ditch, that car, and he’s only been on lean chicken and water for weeks now so what about those muscles?! There’s no fat on him to keep warm!! 😱 Keep safe, we will wait! #ThisIsUs

Another fan echoed a similar sentiment, asking Fogelman to assure viewers that Kevin was alright. The internet user noted that although everyone knows that the character is okay, they are worried about the condition he was left in the previous episode.
Last week's episode titled "Birth Mother" delved deeper into the story of Randall Pearson.
#ThisIsUs oh noooooo😩!!! I had my pint of Ben & Jerry’s chocolate therapy and my new spoon set to go. Thanks Dan for explaining. Stay safe and well. @justinhartley for the love of god Kevin better not be seriously injured 👀

No new episode of #ThisIsUs tonight - Covid-related production delays in LA have forced us to delay a few weeks. But the next few are big ones, and we are close, so we hope you'll hang in there with us. Sorry!
