Fans Praise Al Roker’s Wife Deborah Roberts as She Poses in an Old-Fashioned Brown Dress (Photo)
Al Roker’s wife Deborah Roberts was lauded by followers on Instagram after posting a picture wearing a trendy yet vintage-looking brown dress on Tuesday.
Deborah Roberts stunned her followers when she posted an image on social media wearing a knee-length checkered dress with white cuffs and a white collar. Roberts appeared quite the old-fashioned school girl.
Fans were floored by the dress's high button up top and flared skirt. Roberts looked every bit the Southern Belle who was born in Perry, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
Fans were especially thrilled with Robert’s dress, complimenting her on the classic look, calling it both modern and retro simultaneously.
Another follower flattered Roberts by indicating her desire to have eyelashes just like the journalist. Either way, Robert’s outfit was a resounding success. One fan said,
"Your choice in clothes is fabulous. You always look wonderful."

Roker and Roberts met in 1990 when he was still married to his first wife. Two years later, Roker and Roberts reconnected and began dating. Roker proposed to Roberts in 1994 overlooking the Grand Canyon, and they married a year later.
They have two children together, Leila, born in 1998, and their son Nick, born in 2002. Roker worked as a weather forecaster on Today, and Roberts didn’t really take him seriously at first. She said,
“He was a nice guy but kind of annoying, overly chatty. I just didn’t think of him beyond a friend.”
Last year, Roker revealed to his concerned followers on social media that he had been diagnosed with cancer and would likely have to undergo surgery.
Roker then had surgery to remove his prostate. The operation was successful, with the pathology test presenting no other cancer cells found in his body. Roker was grateful for his family’s support during that difficult time.
Previously, Roberts helped Roker go through another health recovery after his 2002 bypass surgery. In general, Roker and his wife remain incredibly committed to a healthy lifestyle.
The couple revealed that they still enjoy good food like gluten-free pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. However, Roberts dislikes when Roker uses malted milk due to the extra calories.
