Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Have Reportedly Put Wedding Plans on Hold since Welcoming Their Baby
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly enjoying being engaged parents to their daughter, Daisy. With their wedding having being postponed twice before, the couple has decided to put their nuptials on hold since the birth.
A source close to pop sensation and new mom, Katy Perry, and her fiance, actor Orlando Bloom, has revealed the pair have put their conversations about their plans to walk down the aisle on hold for the moment.
The insider explained that initial plans around the big day left both of them strained and created a lot of anxiety around their relationship. They've decided to enjoy being parents to their daughter, Daisy, who was born last August.

The source further explained that Perry and Bloom's view is that things are now good between the two of them, and they shouldn't be meddling with something that already works well, adding:
"They don’t want to put any pressure on themselves about it."
Furthermore, they've both agreed that aside from parenting, they should also focus on striking a healthy balance between raising Daisy amidst their busy careers, according to the source.
Following Bloom's Valentine's Day proposal in 2019, the couple had set their sights on a winter wedding in December that year, where friends and family would join them. They postponed the event due to hassles regarding the location.

Their nuptials were derailed a second time due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Another insider spoke of Perry's disappointment at not being able to walk down the aisle while pregnant, as she had planned to do that summer in Japan.
Perry, 36, revealed her pregnancy in her "Never Worn White" music video in March 2020. At the end of the clip, the star is seen caressing what a growing baby bump. Taking to Instagram when Daisy was born in August, Perry wrote in her caption:
"We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter."
Those closest to the couple spoke of Bloom's natural abilities as a father, with his focus lying solely on his baby girl. Bloom also thinks Perry is an incredible mom, with reports that the songstress is besotted with her new role.
It's understandable why the two are content to wait to tie the knot, given both have already done so once before. Perry and Russell Brand put on an extravagant ceremony for their "I do's" in India back in 2010, which lasted 14 months.
Bloom was previously married to Miranda Kerr, with whom he had a son, Flynn. Their union lasted three years, culminating in a separation in 2013.
It's good to see Perry and Bloom in a good place. Perry revealed to Sirius XM's CBC Radio One she had been left suicidal following her breakup from Bloom in 2017. The split coincided with her 5th studio album release, "Witness."
It also seems the pair are united in what's truly important about their delayed union. In a recent interview, Perry revealed more than just being about the wedding day; it's about the pair holding each other accountable when things get tough.
