A woman imposed a new rule in the house and stopped her husband from having dinner for being rude to their son, who has just recently learned how to cook.
Hardy and Chloe have been married for fifteen years and share a 13-year-old boy. Being her only child, Chloe has a soft spot for him, and Hardy is worried she might get him spoiled.
Chloe does not let Sam, their only son, do anything in the house, and when he does, it is always a big deal for her. She doesn't stop gushing about it.
Hardy comes from a family that believes in being strict and disciplined. His parents told him that children have to be taught that life is hard else they will get too comfortable and weak.
His concern has been that Sam is too comfortable in the house, and he is afraid he might turn out lazy and weak because he does nothing at home other than a few chores, which he rarely does.
Another concern for Hardy, a car repairer, is his wife's bond with Sam. It is evident that the duo is the house's teammates, which silently angers Hardy, who feels left out.
The thought also cripples the father of the house that his only child prefers his wife to him. But as long as he is not lazy, Hardy believes everything else is fine.
Sam likes the idea because, after all, he is not into his dad.
Recently, Sam began taking cooking classes, and each time he cooks, everywhere gets messy, but Chloe is excited that her son gets to do something he likes.
Sam's skills improved within a short time, and he began to make what he could eat and also, he would make the family dinner but still, he wouldn't clean.
Sam's mother would take joy in doing the cleaning even though Hardy believes the 13-year-old should do it himself since the mess is his own doing.
The argument has been brooding between the couple over how much work Sam is doing in the house. Hardy believes his wife should stop helping their son clean up, but Chloe will have none of it.
Hardy told Chloe that Sam needs to know that life is not easy and that there are no freebies. But at this point, Chloe got mad at her husband.
Then she made a new rule in the house. Chloe decided that only people who partake in the preparation of dinner will eventually eat out of it. If Sam cooks and Chloe does the cleaning and Hardy does nothing, that means he does not get to eat dinner. Hardy felt he was being cheated.
Hardy has been going out to eat, and Chloe does not mind because they do not share the same account. Sam likes the idea because, after all, he is not into his dad. Hardy's family thinks Chloe is a bad mom. What do you think?
Here is another interesting story about a woman who refuses to let her adopted son into her house after asking to sell it to help his birth mom.
