David Bowie's Daughter Alexandria Jones Pays Tribute to Late Dad with a Sweet Throwback Photo

The daughter of legendary musician David Bowie, Alexandria Zahra Jones, recently shared a throwback picture of her father at her 13th birthday party on social media.

David Bowie was seen in the photo sitting alone at a table furnished with plates and cups set out for Alexandria Zahra Jones, also known as Lexi, and her friends to arrive.

Bowie gazed directly into the camera with a serious expression on his face. The singer-songwriter, who passed away in 2016, was seen holding up a single balloon.

As Lexi, 20, was gushing over her legendary dad in the picture, she wrote in the caption, "Rad Dad." Lexi is currently based in California and sells her artwork on Depop for as much as $300.

Bowie shared Lexi with fashion model Iman. A dinner party brought the couple together in 1990. When Lexi was born, it was said that she helped her father change his workaholic attitude.

Lexi also gave Bowie the courage to stay healthy. Meanwhile, Bowie also has another child, Duncan Jones, from a previous marriage, while Iman has a daughter, Zulekha Haywood, from her ex.

Bowie passed away in January 2016 at 69 years of age after a long battle with cancer. The rocker and Iman tied the knot in April 1992, followed by a wedding in Florence in June.

Lexi missed Iman during COVID-19 and shared a snap of herself and her mom on social media in May.

A month ago, Iman honored her late husband's birthday and death by paying an emotional tribute to him. The 65-year-old model posted a quote to Instagram that read:

"If I had a flower for every time I thought of you … I could walk through my garden forever."

Both Iman and Lexi were able to get tattoos dedicated to Bowie on the second anniversary of his death. Lexi chose a crescent moon outline of her dad's name and the date 1947-2016.

For her part, Iman, who has received numerous awards over the course of her lengthy modeling and philanthropic career, chose a dagger embellished with the name "David" on her ankle.

Meanwhile, Lexi missed Iman during COVID-19 and shared a snap of herself and her mom on social media in May. She revealed that she hadn't seen the model for six months because of distance.

An image of Lexi celebrating her 18th birthday had initially gained Lexi the attention of some of the world's most influential figures in the fashion industry, resulting in Iman receiving several offers.
