The blockbuster superhero "Thor" is Chris Hemsworth's best-known role. However, it seems his children would prefer if their father took them swimming instead of saving the world.
Chris Hemsworth made a post on Instagram recently that shared a heartwarming note from his 6-year-old son Tristan, who referred to his great father as his "special friend."
The Marvel star shares Tristan with his wife, Elsa Pataky. The boy's note reads as follows: "My special friend is dad, together we go in the pool, together they make me feel happy."

Tristan's teacher commented on the note, "well done, Tristan," and also included a crying face on the emoji, along with the letter's full text on his famous father's post.
Hemsworth's update also resonated with other big superhero dads. "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa has expressed his appreciation by commenting on the post with many heart emojis.
While Hemsworth is no oversharer on social media, he occasionally posts fun family photos, including pictures of his children. The actor is also a doting father to Sasha and India Rose.
A few years ago, Hemsworth and Pataky left Hollywood with their three children and moved to Byron Bay, Australia. After moving, they have spent a great deal of time outside, getting their Vitamin D.
Previously, Hemsworth said that his time away from the movie machine has been valuable.
Hemsworth was recently filming Taika Waititi's upcoming film "Thor: Love and Thunder." The filming was typically held in Australia, with fewer interruptions to his home life.
Many actors with families have benefitted from the past year, as they have had more time to spend at home. Previously, Hemsworth said that his time away from the movie machine has been valuable.
Hemsworth has publicly stated that he prioritizes his family's needs above his career, in addition to sharing access into his life in his home with his children and wife.
Several reports claim that Hemsworth and Pataky met in 2000 and were married that December. In 2012, the couple welcomed India Rose and their twins, Tristan and Sasha, two years later.
Hemsworth and Pataky celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary back in December, with the celebrated actor sharing sweet photographs on Instagram of himself and his wife.
He also paid tribute to Pataky to celebrate Valentine's Day a month ago. He uploaded a sweet photo of the couple and captioned it with two love-heart emojis.
