Miranda Lambert Announces New Album 'The Marfa Tapes' Release Date — Here Are the Details
Miranda Lambert recently teased her newest album, “The Marfa Tapes,” which she worked on with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.
After excitedly waiting for another Miranda Lambert album, fans are thrilled to know that her newest album is only a few months away, as announced on her Instagram account.
The Nashville native posted consecutive Instagram photos leading up to the announcement of her album’s release date. In her first share, Lambert revealed that she worked with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall on the album.
“They’re raw,” she said. “You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing… We wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music.”
In another post, the “Bluebird” songstress shared a photo of her playing the guitar while sitting behind a truck at sundown. She wore a long-sleeved top with earth-tone prints and a cowboy hat to match.
Lambert’s third post featured a glimpse of “The Marfa Tapes” soundtracks, handwritten in a notebook, including “I Don’t Like It,” “The Wind’s Just Gonna Blow,” “Ghost,” and “Breaking a Heart,” among many others.
Lambert previously collaborated with Elle King for her single, “Drunk,” which was recorded in December 2019.
The first track in the album, “In His Arms,” is already out and available for Lambert’s fans to listen to. It launched at Midnight on March 5, as previously announced.
Fans of the star could not help but express their excitement in the comment section, revealing they can’t wait to hear the full album and leaving several fire emojis.
Lambert previously collaborated with Elle King to produce her single, “Drunk,” which was recorded in December 2019 and had a music video that recently came out. According to King:
“Miranda’s one of the funniest and coolest people I’ve ever met. Every time I’m around her is such a good time. I’m blessed that we’ve met each other.”
Indeed, Lambert is a beautiful and talented person. However, unlike many artists whose skills in the arts are passed from generation to generation, the Country Queen did not come from a family of artists.
She worked hard and rose to fame by herself with the talents she was blessed with. Now, Lambert is one of the most known award-winning country artists in the world.
