Vanessa Bryant Shares a Beautiful Photo of Her & Kobe's Late Daughter Gianna
Vanessa Bryant is remembering her daughter, Gianna Bryant, with a beautiful photo shared on her Instagram page. Gianna, affectionately known as "Gigi," was her and Kobe's second child and the late NBA star's protégé.
It's been over a year since the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, but their memory will live on in those who remember and celebrate their lives every day.
Vanessa Bryant, who was married to Kobe for 19 years, is still reeling from the loss of her husband and daughter and has memories, photos, and videos to remember them by.

Recently, Vanessa re-shared a beautiful black and white photo of Gianna wearing a long-sleeved polka dot top. In the photo, Gianna looked angelic with her long dark hair blowing in the wind and a solemn expression on her face. Vanessa captioned:
"My beauty. ❤️Gianna❤️Mambacita❤️."
Hours before, Vanessa shared a beautiful wall mural of the angelic photo on her Instagram page. The beautiful painting by an artist named Tehrell accurately depicted Gianna but included one amazing detail.
In between the strands of Gianna's long hair, the artist painted Kobe's face, which perfectly blended to create a symbolic memorial that Vanessa appreciated.
The wall mural also showed how Kobe and Gianna had a close relationship. The duo was often seen together at basketball games, and Gianna showed signs that she would one day follow in her father's footsteps as a great basketball player.
Kobe and Gianna often spent time practicing basketball together, and the NBA legend's Instagram page was filled with footage of her basketball games and practices.
Kobe was so proud of Gianna, who shared his passion for basketball and hoped to play for the University of Connecticut's women's basketball team.
Unfortunately, the father and daughter dream perished when they died in a helicopter crash along with seven others in January 2020. They were on their way to a tournament for Gianna's youth league that Kobe coached.
Following the fatal helicopter crash, Vanessa has stood firm with the help of her remaining daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri. She told People in its "Women Changing the World" issue that her girls give her strength and a reason to smile.
Vanessa has been an example of strength and resilience following the accident, urging Congress to pass a new helicopter safety bill and pursuing legal action against members of the LASD for unlawfully leaking photos of the accident scene.
