Like any close friends, Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney had misunderstandings that could have led to the end of their friendship, but they stood by each other through it all.

From the former actress' early years filming "Suits," down to her latest challenges as a part of the royal family, faced with criticism, Mulroney defended her friend.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

The pair first formed their friendship while the duchess was filming "Suits" in Toronto and bonded over a shared love for yoga and fashion. Not long after, they appeared on each other's Instagram profiles going on vacations together.

One of the television personality's posts featured the two bonding over cocktails while soaking up the sun during an all-girls trip to the Cayman Islands.

In 2017, during Markle's first royal appearance at the Invictus Games, Mulroney accommodated her best friend and made her feel welcome in the former "Good Morning America" star's home.

LIFE AS A ROYAL

Mulroney was a big part of Markle's life, even during her time in the UK. During her wedding with Prince Harry, Mulroney's twin boys helped carry the duchess' Givenchy bridal veil.

The bouquet of roses came just in time for Mulroney's 41st birthday celebration.

A few months after announcing her pregnancy, Mulroney was among the few stars who attended the royal's baby shower along with Serena Williams, Abigail Spencer, Amal Clooney, Lindsay Roth, and Gayle King.

DEFENDING MARKLE

Mulroney has also always been at the front of Markle's defense line since the British press began attacking her with harsh criticism. Sadly, in 2020, their friendship was tested after Mulroney brought up her friendship with Markle amid a racist scandal.

According to a source, Markle and Mulroney's friendship hung by a thread after the whole fiasco and was already quite rocky in the months before.

Despite the misunderstanding, the stylist stood by Markle's side when criticisms poured in, following the recent bullying accusations made against Markle during her time in the palace.

BETTER DAYS

"I don't know that anyone has ever had to deal with the pressure, the politics and the press like this woman," Mulroney wrote on Instagram. "In the face of it all, I have never seen her waver from kindness, empathy, and love."

It seems like the duo is back to being friends, as Mulroney recently posted a photo of a beautiful flower arrangement in a glass vase sent by the expecting mom.

The bouquet of roses came just in time for Mulroney's 41st birthday celebration. Although the two remain quiet about their friendship, fans are happy Markle has another constant by her side.
