Jason Derulo is looking forward to his journey to fatherhood. The pop star recently announced to his 7.7 million followers on Instagram the gender of his unborn child with model girlfriend, Jena Frumes.

The 31-year-old singer recently uploaded a video showing him and Frumes having a festive gender reveal party at the Bahamas resort. Few family members attended the occasion.

In his video, Derulo explains that he wore blue to indicate that he is having a boy. Frumes, on the other hand, carried a pink bag which meant their child's gender would be a girl.

The venue was filled with blue and pink balloons as dancers in colorful costumes entered. Blue fireworks filled the sky at the end of the video, making Derulo scream. He said:

"It's a boy!"

Derulo, who sang the hit song "Savage Love," was overwhelmed with joy upon learning he and Frumes were having a baby boy. Meanwhile, the comment section celebrated with the couple as well.

Derulo and Frumes received many well-wishes and congratulatory messages from their fans and followers. Many admirers flooded the comments with blue hearts and fire emojis.

The " Warm Bodies" actress revealed that she and her husband Mark Webber were expecting a girl. Also, she said they did a quick gender reveal blood test at a Scottish lab and received the results through an email.
