Former football star Michael Strahan will never look the same way again. He may be famous for his hosting "Good Morning America," but he is also known for his gap-toothed smile.

The 49-year-old TV show host recently shared on Instagram that he has finally fixed his gapped teeth. It was one of Strahan's most distinctive features on his face.

Strahan had not revealed that he wanted to get his teeth fixed. He used to think that if he mentioned the dental procedure openly, he would be discouraged.

Despite his negative thoughts, Strahan realized that he must deal with the matter after a long time of thinking about it. It took him 50 years to finally resolve his dilemma. He said:

"I got to do what I want to do for myself."

The video showed Strahan going through a dental procedure, where one dentist molded his upper teeth. In his second and final visit, the dentist filled in the gap between his front teeth.

After several hours of the procedure, Strahan felt satisfied that the gap was finally closed. He couldn't stop laughing and smiling in the video. The renowned football star said:

"I love it."

Many fans wrote in the comments section that they might miss Strahan's gapped teeth, but seeing him happy is all that matters to them. Some admirers complimented his beautiful smile.

Strahan's transformation video came months after he tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. He recovered later and shared that he's feeling much better and is trying to regain his strength.

Although he battled a virus and recuperated at home, Strahan's stylish New York apartment attracted fans. There were gray shelves, some books on coffee tables, and several decorative accents in the room.

He also spent time in that same area bonding with his 16-year-old twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia. Besides filming fun TikTok videos, Strahan would also cook for them.

Isabella and Sophia, born in December 2004, are Strahan's daughters with his ex-wife Jean Muggli. After they settled their bitter divorce, the doting dad finally owned his right to look after his twins.
