People: Bindi Irwin Gives Intimate Look at Her Road to Motherhood & Shares New Pic of Baby Girl
Conservationist, Bindi Irwin gave People a sneak Peek into her oncoming Discovery+ special, where she detailed her motherhood journey. She also shared a picture of her newborn, Grace Warrior.
New parents, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell couldn’t be prouder of their newborn daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. In a new documentary set to stream on Discovery+ on Sunday, April 25, the famous wildlife lovers chronicled Irwin’s road to motherhood.
The new documentary, titled “Crikey! It’s a Baby,” would detail the new mom’s journey, from discovering her pregnancy, up until the arrival of her baby girl.

Before the official streaming date, Powell and Irwin gave People an exclusive sneak peek into the upcoming documentary, which promises loads of excitement and a handful of firsts.
The exclusive trailer also teased some milestone moments, including Irwin’s big brother, Robert’s reaction to the news of the new baby. Terri Irwin, the baby’s grandma’s reaction, was also captured in the clip, People confirmed.
Additionally, the family of wildlife warriors let fans in on their tear-jerking show of love and support for Irwin throughout her pregnancy. To crown the momentous video, the proud parents introduced the new baby to the world.

They released a new photo of their newest addition. Discovery+ fans would certainly relish every moment of this documentary. Irwin and Powell welcomed their first child on March 25, announcing the news on social media the next day.
Interestingly, the baby’s birth coincided with the couple’s first wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram, the 22-year-old mom shared the first photos of Grace, accompanying them with an emotional tribute to her husband and their newborn.
The daughter of the late crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, also revealed the baby’s name, explaining how the monicker, “Warrior,” was a nod to her dad, who was the most incredible wildlife warrior ever.
Additionally, Grace was a special tribute to Irwin’s great-grandmother and some of Powell’s ancestors. Irwin went on to reflect on their love for the new bundle of joy, who chose the perfect birth date.
Robert Irwin also shared photos of the newborn on social media, gushing about how excited he was to carry on his uncle-adventures. Terri took the fun to Twitter, revealing that her late husband would have been beyond proud of the new mom and her latest feat.
The 56-year-old grandmother went on to gush about her love for the little one, referring to her as the next generation to continue Steve’s mission and message of conservation.
Bindi first went public with the news of her pregnancy last August. She made the revelation on Instagram, sharing a photo of her and Powell holding a minute Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors shirt.
