NFL Star Patrick Mahomes & Fiancée Brittany Celebrate Their Daughter Sterling's First Easter

Patrick Mahomes may be a successful and serious football athlete. Still, behind the scenes, he is a loving partner to Brittany Matthews and, most recently, a doting father to their beautiful daughter, Sterling Skye.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his fiancee have been together for nine years, staying supportive and committed throughout their careers. Their relationship grew stronger in the past weeks as they welcomed a little girl into their lives.

This year marks many firsts for baby Sterling, including Sunday’s Easter celebration with her parents. Mahomes shared a beautiful family photo outdoors to remember the special day, featuring his wife by his side and their baby in his arms.

Mahomes and Matthews looked dashing in pastel-colored outfits; the athlete rocked a light-blue collared top, and the fitness guru donned a light-yellow bell-sleeved dress. Mahomes’ leg cast was also visible in the snap.

Baby Sterling also took part in the color-coordinated family outfit, wearing a pink and blue ensemble and a matching pink headband with an oversized bow. However, the newborn’s face was not seen in the portrait.

The share included a video compilation of the trainer doing hip thrusts throughout her pregnant months.

The proud parents haven’t shared much of Sterling’s pictures on social media since welcoming her in February. According to the new mom, posting her daughter’s face will come at the right time.

In a previous Instagram story, as told by E! News, Matthews said: “I know the Internet will instantly take the photos of her and share [them] everywhere, so just preparing for my newborn baby girl to be shared to the world! Right now, we are just soaking every minute with her.”

However, she and her fiance were not shy in sharing maternity pictures on social media in previous months. As seen in her Instagram profile, Matthews proudly showed off her baby bump from time to time and did not pause her workout regimen.

The fitness trainer’s continuous exercise amid pregnancy came as no surprise given the nature of her job. The first glimpse she gave of her baby also paid tribute to her passion for physical fitness.

When Sterling was two weeks old, she appeared in her first Instagram feature on Matthews’ page. The share included a video compilation of the trainer doing hip thrusts throughout her pregnant months.

Each frame saw the new mom’s belly grow bigger until eventually reaching her 39th week of pregnancy. The clip ended with Matthews doing the same workout, but this time, while holding her daughter.
