New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's daughter Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo, 25 years old, shared a collection of photos from a sunny Saturday in April 2021. One included a photo of herself and Cuomo.
In the photo, father and daughter are sitting on a garden lounge chair enjoying the sunshine. Kennedy-Cuomo is wearing a workout outfit, while her dad wore a pair of cargo pants and a black jacket.

The Cuomos both smiled toward the camera. The family's lush green garden can be seen behind them. In another photo, a mug with a painted picture of her dog as an astronaut is front and center while her dog is in the background.
In the last photo, Kennedy-Cuomo is seen on the floor, in what looks like an exercise pose, while the same dog is standing above her and giving her kisses. She captioned the photos:
"Sunny Saturday ?."
Kennedy-Cuomo and her governor dad have had a busy year running campaigns for COVID-19. In May 2020, Cuomo announced that his daughter had come up with a clever way to encourage New Yorkers to wear masks.
Her suggestion was to ask New Yorkers to produce an ad that told other New Yorkers the importance of wearing a mask, including the health reasons, the rationale, and the social responsibility.
These two campaigns highlight Kennedy-Cuomo's activist nature.
Kenndey-Cuomo worked as a volunteer for the New York Department of Health on the innovative. Contestants submitted in a 30-second advert, which would be voted on. The winner would have it aired on TV.
The daughter-father duo also launched New York's Mask Up campaign with The RealReal in October last year. The campaign was composed of various artists collaborating on face masks.
Each Monday, masks were available for purchase. A percentage of the proceeds went to different organizations supporting community-based COVID-19 relief, including Feeding America and Nurse Heroes.
These two campaigns highlight Kennedy-Cuomo's activist nature. She is a great supporter of her mother, Kerry Kennedy's foundation, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights nonprofit.
The foundation was started by Kennedy's mother, Ethel Kennedy, in 1968 after Kennedy's father, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, was assassinated. President John F. Kennedy is actually Kennedy-Cuomo's greatuncle.
With her Kennedy side and her Cuomo side, she is from two political dynasties. Before her father was the NY Governor, her grandfather, Mario Cuomo, was Governor from 1983-1994.
