Louisiana Boy, 14, Found Safe after Police Had Deployed a Search Team to Find Him
Following initial reports that he was missing, a 14-year-old Louisiana teenager has been found shortly after police had deployed a safe team to find him.
A Louisiana family had their hearts in their hands after their 14-year-old son stepped out of the house and was not found afterward.
Landon Thibodeaux was reported to have gone missing after taking the garbage out but never returned inside. According to his mom, the 14-year-old teenager got into a scuffle in school, and his disappearance is believed to be related.

Shortly after his disappearance, Crowley Police was alerted, and a search team was deployed to bring him home with hopes that he was still in the Crowley area.
There were concerns that the teenager ran away from home, fearing punishment from his parents for engaging in a school fight. His parents took to their social media to call for help in finding their son.

His parents later confirmed via Facebook that they had found their 14-year-old son safely. Relatedly, an Amber Alert was issued for a two-year-old boy who was said to have gone missing at a shooting scene.
He surrendered himself and was taken into police custody.
Philadelphia police had responded to the scene of a shooting on North 8th Street and found a 25-year-old woman fatally shot, but her little kid was nowhere to be found.
Another Amber Alert was issued by the Pennsylvania police, who strongly believed that the toddler was kidnapped by his 28-year-old father Byron McDonald II.

The 2-year-old's grandmother, Tamara Aikens, was also shot on the same day and sustained fatal injuries, which she later succumbed to at the Temple University Hospital.
A few days later, the police officer located the Chevrolet Malibu McDonald was believed to have been traveling in. They also received information that he had lodged in a hotel.

McDonald was said to have been arrested after he was found in a room alongside his son and a woman believed to be his mother. He surrendered himself and was taken into police custody.
McDonald is suspected to be responsible for both murders and was reported to have been found guilty of third-degree murder for his role in a 2012 shooting.
