The 20-year-old country star gave birth on January 18 and could not help but gush about her daughter and share the experience as a first-time mom. During an interview with People, Barrett talked about the “awesome” journey into motherhood. She said:

“It’s a whole new world, honestly. It’s all so true all the cliche sayings -- when you have kids, everything changes in your world; just flips upside down.”

Barrett described her little Baylah as a sweet baby who is now her top priority. The singer added that it felt great having an inspiration to work hard as the newborn is now her reason to strive for success.

BECOMING A FATHER

Foehner shared the same sentiments as his wife as he shared his thoughts about becoming a father. In an Instagram post, the 24-year-old thanked the Lord for blessing him with a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter.

The pair did not take home the award, they won the best collaborative video for the track during the 2020 CMT Music Award.

The talented parents were also thrilled to have spent so much time with their pride and joy amidst the pandemic; hence, the pair got to bask in the happiness of being together with Baylah.
