'The Masked Singer' Eliminates Both Crab & Seashell — See Fan Reactions to the Episode
The singing competition “The Masked Singer” saw a double elimination of both the Crab and Seashell on April 21 during season 5, episode 7 of the series.
The show’s Twitter page account revealed the singer behind the Crab costume in a 40-second video clip. The audience and the judges went berserk when the Crab got unmasked by the host Nick Cannon.
In a hype, Cannon yelled out, "The King is in the building! Bobby Brown!” as the legendary R&B singer took off his mask. The pair even shook hands and briefly embraced each other.

WHO IS THE CRAB?
One of the panelists, Jenny McCarthy, could not believe her eyes after Brown's reveal and screamed as soon as he was identified.
Fans of the show also expressed their excitement to see Brown on the Wednesday episode and took to Twitter to react to the spoiler alert shared on the platform.
“Wow, I’m So Thrilled To See The #CrabMask Got Unmasked By The Legend And The Rhythm & Blues Guy BOBBY BROWN! Now That’s What I Like To Call I Felt Crabby For Crab,” one user retweeted.
While it was a surprise for some, others could tell it was Brown behind the mask. One user wrote that she knew it was him because she recognized his voice.
She added that Brown did a great job this season and that she was sad to see him go. Another echoed the same sentiments while one other user complained that the episode took too long to reveal the singers.
ELIMINATION ROUND
Crab performed an emotional song by Phil Collins, "In the Air Tonight," and he was followed by Seashells, who sang Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now."
Following their performances, Cannon announced Crab as the first contestant to be eliminated. Panelists McCarthy and Ken Jeong guessed right about Brown being the Crab.
Cannon declared that Seashell, who was unmasked as actress Tamera Mowry was going home. There many clues which applied to both Mowry and her twin sister Tia which left the judges confused.
MARK MCGRATH
On April 14’s episode, Mark McGrath got eliminated from the show as Orca. At the time, the judges' first impressions guesses included Jon Bon Jovi, Green Day lead singer Armstrong, and Dave Grohl.
The 53-year-old could not believe who he was confused for and said his head was still spinning as big as the Orca when he took off the mask.

In March, the legendary former athlete Caitlyn Jenner joined the show and stepped out in the Phoenix outfit, and got voted out from the series. Before she took off her mask, the judges, Jeong and McCarthy, had already guessed that it was her.
The 71-year-old told People when she was first asked to be part of the show, she turned them down, but they remained persistent, and she gave in while revealing it was during a time where she wanted a challenge.
