Ree Drummond's family is gearing up for her daughter's wedding, and the bride-to-be couldn't hold in her excitement about the multiple wedding cakes they have arranged for the special day.
Ree Drummond and her daughter Alex hosted an Instagram live on The Pioneer Woman Magazine's social media page as they shared all the details for the upcoming wedding.
Alex didn't hold back any detail when describing the various wedding cakes that they will be digging into on the special day, with one cake specially designed for her fiancé, Mauricio Scott.

STEELERS SUPPORTER
Despite Alex's lack of involvement with the arrangements for the food, she was very concerned with the specific design and details of the wedding cakes. She revealed that there would be two cakes for dessert.
Amy's Cake will make both cakes, with the first cake sporting a more traditional look with multiple layers of vanilla cake covered with strawberry and vanilla icing. The second cake is a groom's cake, and Alex described it as follows:
"Mauricio's groom's cake is going to be a jersey, like a football jersey, and it's going to be half Steelers and half ANM. Mauricio is a big Steeler's fan in case you didn't know."
THINKING OF EVERYONE
All of the bride and groom's family members are considered in their choices for the wedding day. Alex's dad's preferences were catered for by making the groom's cake chocolate, his favorite.
Alex and her soon-to-be husband crossed paths while they were students at Texas A&M University.
Ree had the honor of taking over the entire menu. Her daughter left all the decisions about the food up to her capable mother. The Food Network star's restaurant, the Mercantile, is catering for the special event.
OUTDOOR WEDDING
With the television chef moving closer to becoming a mother-in-law, she has been detailing the process of organizing a wedding alongside her daughter on her blog.
Ree shared about the couple's decision to ditch the traditional choice of a wedding venue in exchange for having their ceremony outdoors on the family's Oklahoma ranch. She said:
"It's where Alex grew up, and it just feels like the right place."
FAMILY IN THE BACKGROUND
The Food Network star has been next to her daughter throughout her journey to the aisle, beginning at the moment that Scott dropped down on one knee to ask the big question.
Ree and all the other family members hid in the background while the couple shared their significant moment. The proud mom revealed that everyone was peaking as much they could to see the two get engaged.
Alex and her soon-to-be husband crossed paths while they were students at Texas A&M University, hence the university featuring the groom's cake. They dated for several years before upgrading their relationship status.
The college sweethearts are set to exchange their nuptials on the Drummond ranch this Saturday, with a fiesta-themed rehearsal dinner lined up for Friday night to prepare them for the big event.
