Actress and TV host Melissa Rivers, the only child of late comedian Joan Rivers, once admitted she regrets having only one child as she loves motherhood.

Born in January 1968, Melissa Rivers is a popular actress, producer, and TV show host who worked with her mother, Joan Rivers, on “Fashion Police” between 2002 and 2015.

The mother-and-daughter duo also had their own reality show, “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” that ran for three years. Unfortunately, Joan passed away in September 2014.

Joan underwent a routine endoscopy that August but went into cardiac arrest and was placed in a medically induced coma. She never woke up, and Melissa had to make the difficult decision of taking her mom off life support.

Months after her passing, Melissa confessed that no matter how prepared you think you are for doing such a thing, you’re not actually ready.

Melissa revealed she slept next to her mother the last night she was alive. The following day, they removed the ventilator, and some family members stayed by Joan’s bedside and talked to her.

Shortly after, doctors asked them to leave the room so that Joan could start to let go. About one hour later, the “Fashion Police” star died. Cooper, Melissa’s only son, was 14 years old at the time and was also by Joan’s side before she died.

Speaking of Melissa Rivers’ son, Edgar Cooper Endicott, he was born on December 1, 2000, to Melissa and her ex-husband, equestrian John Endicott. More on their relationship later.

Cooper is currently studying at Ohio Wesleyan University and also plays lacrosse for the university’s team. Although he has not pursued a career in the entertainment industry yet, Melissa once said he had “all the time in the word” to be an entertainer.

Before Melissa’s son headed off to college, she got candid about getting ready to be an empty nester and the combination of feelings that would “overtake” her, like sadness, pride, and loneliness.

It was not the only time Melissa shared some details on parenting. She once admitted her biggest regret as a parent was not having more children as she “loves” being a mom.

[Melissa’s boyfriend] was searching online for other sexual partners.

Coming back to Melissa and John’s relationship, they met at a horse show in California in 1993. One night, they went out to dinner, and Melissa knew she found a person completely different from the men she’d dated before.

Five months after their first meeting, they were already living together in Los Angeles. Initially, they were staying under the same roof while John found a place to stay, but he never left.

In December 1998, the TV personality and the horse trainer and owner of Apollo Farms in California tied the knot at New York City’s Plaza Hotel in a fairytale-like wedding.

Unfortunately, Melissa and her husband made headlines in May 2002 after the equestrian filed for divorce. At the time, the details of their separation were unclear, but he cited irreconcilable differences.

Ever since the divorce, Melissa Rivers’ dating life has attracted a lot of attention. She dated sports coach Jason Zimmerman between 2008 and 2011 but discovered he searched online for other sexual partners.

Before 2011 ended, the TV personality was already dating Steven Hirsch, the president of Vivid Entertainment and a then-rising star in the adult entertainment industry.

Their romance was short-lived as they parted ways six months later. TMZ reported they remained friends, and they split due to their busy personal lives.

Mark Rousso and Melissa Rivers began dating in 2014 but only went public in February 2015 when she took him to an event in Los Angeles. Nowadays, the details about their relationship are scarce as they are pretty private about it.
